Chinese Laundry reviews
34Probs one of my favourite clubs in the world, excellent DnB Dj's and a killer vibe.awesome to go with a few mates and get loose, drinks are a bit pricey and sometimes the line is pretty long to wait to get in
Justin’s got it locked down. Expect to pay $30 for a beer and spirit. Don’t even fall for it when they ask you if you want a ‘double’ like the poor other sods paying $60 for two drinks. I’ll give it an extra star just for the music but make sure you have a few before you go!
So great! Great music and good vibes overall. Highly recommended for first timers and for experienced clubbers. Staff where friendly and helpful. Great night all around.
Went to watch Pawsa on Saturday night. First time here, heard mixed reviews but thought it can't be too bad. We were wrong.
Been to a lot of venues, seen a lot of DJs, but i have never been so squashed into a room like that. Its a multi room venue, but no room is big enough to fit a headline act in. They must of oversold the event by a few hundred. Music was great, but i couldn't last longer than 45 minutes, no room to stand never mind dance. Had to spend the rest of the set in the second room.
Real shame because the first 45 mins of Pawsa's set was really good, just a massive let down from the venue.
This place hosts killer artists/DJs - some of best to visit Australia. Unfortunately, the venue itself is verrry overcrowded and has poor air flow. Personally, I haven't been comfortable there.
Had a friend leave her phone here, security were absolutely top notch in keeping it safe until pickup, verification was a strong plus as well.
Had a great night from what I can remember! As I'm not from around the area the security were very helpful with directions and the staff were friendly. Good dance floor vibes!
Still one of the best clubbing venues in Sydney. Although I don’t get there too often these days, it’s a great dark/dingy venue to have a huge night with friends. Make sure you pick your night (in terms of DJs), and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Thoroughly recommend
After knowing about Chinese laundry for nearly 8 years and finally going, I was expecting them to actually have a somewhat decent sound system, are there even subs at all? The music is clipping and I can still hear myself speak no problem.
They just kicked us out after paying 60 dollars entry for drinking in the line which we didn't do. Such a disappointing experince
My friends and I bought tickets and weren’t let in. Very disappointing! I would give 0 stars if I could.
It's fun but it's not really a classy place. There's too much of the young crowd. Food is good though and drinks are okay. The atmosphere is alright too but I wouldn't see myself spending too long in here.
Sometimes its quite good for a quick night out but other times you might wish you danced at home with a cheaper bill for your drinks
Deliberately over sells it admission, venue holds 250,1000 tickets sold on Sat 19th Jan! Dodgy venue rude bouncers over priced drinks.
$60 for two people to see some hack kind of try to blend tracks. Maybe a club for the 21 and under crowd.average as they come
Dirty and not an inviting atmosphere. Music choice was not to my taste and we left after 15 minutes here.
Whilst attending the Chinese Laundry, Rami, Jacob and Hamza (bouncers) welcomed me woth the utmost warth, kind manners and respect. I highly commened their level of customer service as it was above and beyond anything i have expected i hope to see these boys move up in their careers.
KIND regards,
James Zarb
This club sucks so much! Very bad music, very bad management, and way too many underaged kids.does not earn the reputation they have.go somewhere else, not worth the money.
What a rip off this place is!
They are actively throwing out sober people under shady excuses to increase their turnover. If you are not looking for a huge amount of underaged people and very rude and unprofessional management - don't go there.
