A wonderful place for kids to play. Wharf and Kayaking give a beautiful scenic view for parents and elders.
Been 15 years been taking my kids to Blaxland now teenagers still come here. Highly recommended for kids, family and friends.
Blaxland Riverside Park is Sydney’s largest playground and offers an amazing play space. There’s water features, moving play elements, high and steep landforms and hidden and confined spaces to play in.
Enjoy the double flying fox, mega-swing, tunnel slides, scramble wall, spinning play disk, Viking swing, multi-level tree house, and the largest outdoor water play facility in the State. Grownups can enjoy a sausage sizzle on the free BBQs or enjoy a picnic, plus walk, cycle or run along the riverside walking trail. Beautiful place for the kids.
It's a great place for families to hangout and relax in a beautiful, scenic, and natural environment while kids can play their hearts out
Wonderful playground for kids of all ages. Variety of rides and there are so many. Big enough track for cycling and scooter riding. Spread in a wide area of land, playing here is not boring unlike most playgrounds.
This playground has so much to offer for children and adults. My favourite is the Treehouse because it's a pain to try and manoeuvre around it, but fun. It's very quiet during the week and gets very busy at the weekend. This playground is inside Blaxland Riverside Park which is a bonus. There's a kiosk next door and plenty of public lavatories. Highly recommended for everyone but come visit early morning or late afternoon, especially in hot weather.
Lovely playground! Lots of spaces to run around, picnic, and play. Kids definitely had a great time.
Pros: Great facilities
Cons: A nightmare to find parking and UNMAINTAINED facilities and playground
What a great facility.
Good selection of equipment.
Clean and safe
10 points to the council
An impressive public park with plenty of activities for kids and adults. Lots of rock climbing up shallow and steep padded areas with various accompanying slides. There’s also flying fox, a number of swings both small and large. Great to bring your pets and kids or even have a picnic. Recommend to come early on weekends as it can become very crowded and noisy.
Only dropped one star due to how close it is located to the large Silverwater jail.
This is probably THE best playground in whole of Sydney and that's no lie. It has a flying fox, swings, tunnels, long slides, climbing ropes and more. The kids always have a fun time here and it's hard to drag them away when time to leave.
Majority of the play equipment is closed for repairs right now. The swings and park in general are still free to access.
Cant wait to return once they re-open as there are plenty for kids to do!
Best park/playground around, heaps of variety for all ages and abilities. Having the water play area going again is great.
Big park, lots of play things for the kids with climbing ropes, tunnels, a tower and all the usual stuff like slides and swings. Great!
One of my daughters favorite playgrounds. It's us who are ruining the goodness of it by throwing junk, not taking care of our belongings or kids!
It's a very nice park good for the family and for kids my daughter loves this park because it's very big and has allot of games
Large play area near Parramatta River. Potentially suitable for fishing i thought, though i didnt go down to the water. Lots of bike/ scooter pathway. Cafe on site.
Great play area, plenty of seating in the shade. The water park was awesome the kids loved it. Parking was close by and easy to access. Would recommend coming early. The cafe was great too, good coffee! Would definitely come again.
