Chicken & Fishhead- Cafe and Kidswear

Fun name, easy parking nearby. Lovely location for a Friday lunch with friends. The chicken sandwich is the best. Even if you are gluten-free. It was delicious. Great coffee and dog friendly outside tables.

I love the bread here and the sandwiches it’s so so good and thicc and makes me happy.the coffee is like gods juice it’s very comforting and gives me energy 4 the day ahead

Coffee was weak. Ham & cheese croissant was very mediocre for the steep price. How about adding some salt & pepper? Or some mustard? I dunno how they justify charging $10 for simply slapping together store bought ingredients and a day old croissant (it's not even hot when it arrived). I would've ordered eggs on toast except for it's $14 which I'm sure will not be worth it either

This is the place I always find what I need. Whether it’s a great coffee, unique gift for myself or a loved one or a lovely chat you will find it here. I can’t speak more highly of a lovely cafe. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Very ordinary. Asked if the juice was freshly squeezed - yes. Asked for a pineapple juice but told no I could only have it mixed with other juices eg pineapple and apple.
I had the grilled chicken burger - it seemed to have been cooked on a flat plate, was small and way overcooked. The rest was great but the hero of the dish wasn't. One colleague had scrambled eggs and the other poached eggs. The bacon with both was overcooked as were the poached eggs - solid as a rock and not at all runny
When we had finished they cleared half the table and then came back many minutes later and cleared the rest.
Overall disappointing

I always order the same so not sure about other dishes.
I always get the chicken, celery and spinach wrap. So so good!

A Xmas lunch with friends, everyone's meal was beautifully presented, very tasty and excellent service. Staff were so nice and accommodating.

It would have been 4 stars all the way, but this visit after the xmas new year break was a lot more expensive than the one in December. Good food, good service and really nice location but the prices just silly now, even given a lot of cafes are doing the same. Choose the cafes that are more realistic I say!

Don’t have great vegetarian options and don’t substitute for meat (asked me to pay extra to swap out meat for mushrooms!). Do not recommend.

Edit: response from cafe a joke. Go do some research at other local cafes. You don’t accomodate and discriminate. Your vegetarian options are terrible so the need to swap simple ingredients.

One of the few cafes in the area with some (limited) outdoor seating. Food and coffee yet to be explored but the menu looks promising. Popular with families babies and toddlers as apparently sells children's clothing too. Laid back jazz music playing was a plus for me.

This is such a good establishment. It is amazing food, clean premises and has a cute little shop.

A beautiful store in Beecroft which is a shining light of colour and wonderful service. Great children's clothing, gifts and worth popping into see this stunning store. If feeling pecking, then pop in next door for a selection of tasty treats.

The lovely owners here have a great lunch menu. Never any issues with arriving a bit later than regular lunch time.
Highly recommended.

Fantastic coffee! (Decaf that tastes like full strength!) Perfectly balanced espresso from someone who clearly knows their beans and machine. Great range of treats and sweets. If you're Gluten free or have allergies this is the place for you! The takeaway coffee + B&E roll is delicious and great value. Definitely stop in here on your way through, or to, Beecroft.

Went above and beyond to assist my pregnant wife who was unwell outside. Then after ordering some takeaway they went above & beyond again by bringing it across the road where my wife was sitting. Fantastic customer service! Thank you once again!

Amazing.probably has to be one of the best toasties I’ve had in my life (cheese, tomato & basil) … I also am a huge fan of the chai blend they use. The first dirty chai i’ve had and really liked. Highly recommend

Lovely little cafe with that rare element these days - table service - where you actually sit down and look at the menu and have someone come to take your order, rather than deciding what you want, lining up at the counter to pay, and then finding a table. So convenient and relaxing, especially with a toddler in tow. Another point of difference is the unobtrusive, low volume music which does not interfere with conversation or concentration, unlike many other cafes where the blaring soundtrack makes either of these impossible. Coffee is great, food is good, restroom conveniently accessible and there is the added bonus of gorgeous kid's clothing and toys to browse. This place is a haven for those who enjoy a quiet and civilised ambience.

I have this place few chances, but it never met my expectations.
A coffee was too hot and the taste was average, a burger wasn't something outstanding and yummy. 3/5.

I'm updating my review to 1/5 due to the staff member being rude to my kid. Such a shame to have people like that guy working at a "kids friendly" place. Won't recommend my friends going there.
