He is very professional, reasonably priced and I’ve never been disappointed with a haircut from him

Took my brother there to get a haircut. Great haircut! But my brother got ringworm so.would recommend only if proper hygiene procedures were implemented

After searching through all barbers throughout Redfern, finally came along Ali from Chicanos who finally given me the haircut I’ve been asking, his professionalism and friendly environment has secured a client for life, keep up the good work my brother!

It was so hard to find a kind, affordable, informative haircut. Most of the places gave me the feeling of i-dont-belong-here, but not this place.

Got to ask of some opinion, got to decide on a haircut and even got the correct one. It was cool.

I am not very talkative during a haircut, but the conversation was so natural, flowing. Could not resist.

Ali is the first barber I've found in Sydney to combine a great haircut with good banter. He makes the whole experience a lot of fun whether you're in the chair or waiting to hop in. Strongly recommend and can't wait to go back once we're out of lockdown.

Friendly old school barber shop with good banter and clean quick cuts. Most barbers butcher curly hair but this dude nailed it. Will be back

Best hairdresser in Sydney I've found, a VERY fair price for a cut that looks like a $150 stylist job!

I'm a pretty awkward person and never get along with talking to the hairdresser but the owner (Didn't catch his name sorry! Only person working) was incredibly nice, inviting and easy to get along with.

Save your money and potential regret by coming to this barber for a haircut, you won't be disappointed!

A capable and friendly barber by all standards certainly. No complaints about my haircut, however prices are steep for what im used to.
$35 is a bit of a stretch for a basic buzz and cut with no special work -no fade -no shave -and no fresh razor when cleaning (which is standard).

Questionable price aside, if youre in a bit of a pinch for time and dont mind what could only be a rush fee, I'd definitely recommend.

Ali will look after you. It's a walk in only place but he manages to move things along and good for a chat too.

Me and my housemate turned up at 2: 45 on Sunday afternoon although they were closing at 3, where most barbershops would turn you away because they would be cutting after close, Ali could not be more welcoming! I'm not kidding when I say it's the best barber experience I have ever had. Ali was the best, genuinely a proper barber, offering us advice as to how we should style our look, what products to use, all while keeping up a great down to earth easy chat. Such a great dude. The shop has a great vibe, and will definitely not just come back, but make this our regular barber shop! Absolute legend!

Aly knows hair. No matter your hair type or head shape, he knows how to adjust. Don’t expect cookie cutter haircuts here because he’ll be honest with you about what will and will not work with your head shape. Good banter, even better cuts.

Ali delivers a quality cut, he's good with following instructions and is a friendly chap. Would definetly recommend this place.

Local nice, staff for nothing friendly and slow, I cut my hair badly I had to have them set up from another place, there was a good and fast Italian who knows where it will be! I will never go back there again for free.

Apparently Vincenzo doesn’t work there anymore which is a shame. I agree with an earlier reviewer this is probably a great spot if you just want a buzz cut but anything more time consuming or detailed and you might be better looking elsewhere. After a very anxious 20 minutes of having random chunks of hair cutoff I’ve got a very uneven messy looking cut I’ll need to get fixed elsewhere.

Rough work, the designer even spread heaps of water to my face while spreading my hair. I saw the price on their page for barbaers cut was 30, but while I was there they cost me 35 for this bad service. Most importantly! The hair style was really terrible and messy. Never go there again!
