Chemist Warehouse Newcastle reviews
23I must say I was super impressed with the level of service that the pharmacist went to due to a stuff up withy doctors. Above and beyond.
Called to check on stock of prescription medication - spoke to pharmacist - she was rude unhelpful and dismissive.
Worst customer service ever …
Just like a local pharmacy but cheaper and there's a huge range of goods. There are lots of sales on cosmetics, vitamins, shampoo and face lotions. These sales happen regularly. You can buy cologne for cheaper prices too. But wait for the sales. Prescriptions are filled at the back of the store. They're often cheaper too. I'm not sure why anyone would pay full price for these products elsewhere.
Went in to buy Prada Candy perfume 30ml - brought home, opened it - there was an used manicure set inside instead of a perfume. I took it back with a receipt, because they obviously sold me a fraud product and I was sure that they will refund me. Store manager Aisy was extremely rude to me and refused to refund or give an actual fragrance. Furthermore she blamed me for that fraud. She kicked me out of the store saying that her head office instructed to not refund me and she advised me to contact Prada Australia (which I did - and they obviously have nothing to do with Chemist Warehouse). The head office of Chemist warehouse couldn’t do anything either.
So Chemist warehouse sold me a fraud product (there must be some issue in their supply chain I’m guessing) and the customer service is horrible to say the least.
Go ahead and try your luck with the perfume
Pharmacist is garbage, I find it easier to talk too staff for advice. If I wanted an Asian teleprompter I’ll go see her.
Generic chemist warehouse. Very good with lots of variety. Help if needed but will let you just browse if you want to.
I'm a long-term customer of CW Hunter Street (10y) and regularly purchase prescriptive medication, general pharmaceuticals and sundries. In my experience, the staff are always helpful, knowledgeable and polite; the product range is extensive and of good quality and prices are very competitive.
5 stars for the helpful staff today, especially Alicia the tall lass who was friendly and super helpful. Much better service than Hamilton.
Refused to fill my script because it was the wrong format. Then had it filled at another proper pharmacy without issue. Chemist warehouse needs to employ professional adults rather than inexperienced just out of uni pharmacists. It’s the McDonalds of pharmacies.
The best ever chemist warehouse I have been to. Staff are excellent, knowledgeable, and most of all friendly. Store is clean, not a piece of litter on the floor and the pharmacists are the most efficient I have ever witnessed. Will be making this my regular store
Your store manager was unprofessional in dealing with customers. Drug price were higher than same store in Hamilton. Prescription management was unsatisfactory.
Your drug price are so much more expensive, lots more than same store on Hamilton. Service are poor, manager Aisy was never return the call as promised. Never use you again.
The very poor customer service and after purchase care makes the advertised lower prices not worth the effort. The last product I bought from the Chemist Warehouse on Hunter Street Newcastle was faulty and I tried to return it as soon after I opened it as possible. The staff initially refused to listen to my explanation due to not having the receipt of purchase with me, but when I went back again with the receipt I was falsely accused of opening the package and using some and then trying to fraudulently return the remainder. The manager, Aisy, was very rude and also insulting toward me, and also refused to return my phone calls when I tried to discuss the problem. This was not even the first time I had this kind of a problem with a faulty purchase from this store. But this will be the last time because I will never buy from this store again.
Very poor customer service actually no customer service. On two occasions I've complained about very faulty products both times I was insulted by very rude staff. It's the last time I will go back to Chemist Warehouse Newcastle.
Your staff has always been helpful and has information on other medications if you dont have the one i am looking for.
Very rude staff at the counter. I asked this morning to a brunet lady that was at the counter about the code that is required to use the chemist app and the answered was "I have nothing to do with that". Wow! Sorry! She could had asked someone else that works there and inform me or at least treat the customers better. I'll prefer other chemists from now. Disappointing.
Very rude staff, several items I wanted to purchase were ticketed at discounted prices “staff claimed these tickets were wrong” was handled in an very unprofessional manner will not be returning.
Look out for the sales, makes it worthwhile. Staff offers great suggestions and you can easily tell they know what they're talking about.
I Love the Chemist Warehouse. The staff are friendly and always helpful when asked. The Pharmacists are happy to give clear advice about a product they sell. Besides that the prices are always good. I buy as many things as I can there. Beats the supermarkets hands down, and when the sales are on there is no competition.
Very poor customer service. I asked for some help, a lady staff simply said they dont have and walked away. I was about to ask some alternative of what i wanted. I wont visit again to this CW Newcastle again. Very disappointed.
A lady staff was not even ready to listen and arguing with customer.
I would be better visit CW at hamilton.
Very bad experience.
