Tailed and profiled by the Male Security Guard from the moment I walked in, was aggressive and searched me. Bad shopping experience won’t be going back.

Terrible attitude! No patience at all, not even let people to finish their sentence, very rude!

Your cashier really need some more training to learn how to respect customer. I gave her ＄100, she told me you are Lucky we did not have any change one hours ago as every customer came for change and she said please do not do like this. Excuse me?
What can I do if I only have ＄100 and I did not mean to. You can asking for EFT in more generally…. Really terrible…chemist warehouse was changed….

Staff are consistently rude, unhelpful and very unprofessional. Worse experience at Chemist Warehouse, that I’ve ever experienced.

Very narrow shelves, couldn't get around with my pram. Very crowded with staff, customers and items stocks. Very tight space.

Sunday 30th Oct 2022 around 6pm, I went to buy some perfumes. I was looking around the perfume section and yes I was bit confused which one to buy. After a while I realised that the security guard was staring at me, I knew it was her job to do so I ignored her. After getting the one I liked, I went to register for checkout. I bought my stuff and about to leave out but the security guard stopped me and asked me to show my bag and I understand it is a security procedure. I showed her my bag and she asked me how many items you bought and I replied just one and here is the receipt if you wanna have a look. She said, ”that’s fine, but can I check you bag, ”. I was furious and gave her my bag so that she can go through all but she replied that’s fine. The way she was talking and looking at me was super rude.

Never going back again if she is in the door.

My daughter was clearly traumatised by her experience there at the hands of the female Indian security officer this week, vowing to never shop there again. She was targeted I suspect because of her age, gender and ethnicity. She could clearly see that my daughter had made purchases at the counter and had the receipt, also, but forced her to pull everything out of her backpack, with no apology afterward after finding nothing of interest. At the same time the older man of a different ethnicity following behind who wanted to show his receipt was moved along by the security officer, who had no interest to check his purchase. This is no way to treat customers and I, also, will not be shopping there again.

Best phone enquiries services. Every time I call, there's always someone there to answer my questions. The staff are friendly, patient and professional.

Absolutely horrible,
Left my own bag with some clothes at the security guard at front letting her know because it's easy to shop. Then when I went for my bag after shopping, she rudely started taking things out of my bag saying I don't know whose is this? I kept saying it's mine I left it with you. Like I didn't even take that bag in sis! She asked my name and all. What's at problem seriously. I understand that checking bag is a duty of security but not the one I literally left it behind her at the door!

The shopping experience is reasonable, drug price is cheap compared with other pharmacy stores nearby, the only downside is the space between shelves is too narrow, hard to pass through when there are multiple customers in the same aisle, too many boxes overhead, dangers of falling down.

I just wanted to check if they have restocked the perfume…. And it was not there. I didn’t even take one minute… the lady guard literally saw me.and checked my bag…. I was about to go to work with so many work clothes and food.and she was like.more I want to see more.very unappropriate.just literally 20 seconds in store.and made me check my entire bag when I didn’t touch a single stuff… what a shame…. Worst lady guard ever….

Bought several items here over the past month and it's the standard Chemist Warehouse.
I love that they're open til quite late incase you need anything.
It is quite hard to navigate inside and the isles are tight.

VERY POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS, EVEN FROM ONE OF THE PHARMACIST.
I HAD HAD MY NAME ON A WAIT LIST FOR DIABETES MEDICATION FOR AROUND 2 WEEKS.
WHEN RESPONDING TO A CALL BACK, I WAS TOLD THAT IF I DIDN'T COLLECT THE MEDICATION IT WOULD BE GIVEN TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER.
I EXPLAINED THAT I DIDN'T HAVE ACCESS TO TRANSPORT TODAY, BUT WOULD BE IN TOMORROW.
ABRUPTNESS AND RUDENESS DOES NOT WIN REPEAT CUSTOMERS.
I GUESS IT IS ALL ABOUT PROFITS!
I RECOMMEND THAT ONE GOES ELSEWHERE, YOU WILL RECEIVE BETTER SERVICE & COURTESY AT ANY OTHER PHARMACY IN HURSTVILLE.

Haven’t had an issue with this branch over the years. Store can be a bit hard to navigate and tight aisles but this is fairly consistent with most CWs

Usually pretty good service but I was short changed 20 dollars tonight. The cashiers were chatting with each other and were clearly not paying attention to what they were doing. While I don't mind employees socialising, because trust me, I get it, you should probably pay attention to who you're serving? You could get back to the conversation afterwards, I'm sure.

I don't know how your cash registers work, but surely the screen tells you the correct change to give? If so, then clearly the employee either can't count, or just wasn't paying attention, as I said before. Either way, not very good. Naprogesics doesn't cost 33 dollars - They cost 13 dollars, last time I checked. I'm quite annoyed about this because I only found out after coming home. Definitely need to start checking my change while in store, in case I get ripped off like this again. It is partially my fault for not checking, but the cashier either needs extra training or needs to understand what paying attention to her task means. Makes it even worse that the store wasn't busy, so clearly it wasn't because they were stressed, which is why they gave the wrong change.

Have fun with the extra 20, I guess.

Incompetent pharmacy and extremely very intrusive. Certain questions you asked customer is very inappropriate. She broke the code of conduct oh APHRA regulations. Additionally employees were bludging and reluctant to help with assistance as they rather pursue their gossip with their coworker between each other. Not professional!

A week ago I came to the store for my prescription while waiting for it to be ready, I browse around the store at that same time the security Indian security guard walk pass me and looked at me, didn’t take notice of it at first until I move to another isle and saw him at the same isle and everytime I look up to him he turns around so I keep changing isle just to see if he was following me or watching me. Anyway he was following me maybe because I had a big handbag on me and it’s wide open too, went to check my prescription and it was ready so came straight to the cashier to pay and the security guard was waiting at the exit. As soon as I walk out, the security guard approached me and ask to check my bag, I refused and questioned him why? Have I done something wrong? Showed him my receipt but still ignores it and demanded to check my bag and I keep refusing and he got really aggressive, raising his voice at me. I ask for the store manager and told him about the issue, the manager was worst himself too don’t know what to do! I felt so uncomfortable in this store. The security guard had no sense of humour doesn’t talk politely to people. I told manager this security guard shouldn’t be working here he makes me uncomfortable with his presence.
Very bad treatment

Very poor customer service. The cashier would not accept my 50$ note, saying that she was "uncomfortable" to accept it. Only after I repeatedly asked her why, she gave me an unprofessional excuse of the cash being "too yellow" without even using a money detector. Other stores had no problem accepting the same note.

Love this chemist as they have any medicines that I need. Great staff and very reasonable price.
