It is my go to and although space is tight, it always has what i need for a great price. I always spend more than i planned to. Great range of fragrances too.

My experience was a positive one just before Xmas at the Hurstville store, the customer service has improved at the front cashiers, they are more enjoyable to deal with and they engage well with the customer.

I recently visited Chemist Warehouse Hurstville and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience at the perfume section. A female worker, whose name I didn't catch, provided me with exceptionally rude and unprofessional service.

I approached her with some questions about the available perfumes, hoping to make a purchase. However, instead of being helpful and courteous, she displayed a complete lack of interest in assisting me. She was dismissive and condescending, making me feel unwelcome as a customer.

Customer service is a crucial aspect of any retail store, and I expected a much higher standard from a well-known chain like Chemist Warehouse. The behavior of this particular employee not only tarnished my impression of the store but also made me question whether I should continue shopping there.

I believe it's important to provide constructive feedback to improve the overall shopping experience for customers. I hope that Chemist Warehouse management addresses this issue promptly and ensures that all employees receive proper training in customer service etiquette.

I would like to see an improvement in the level of service at the perfume section to make shopping at Chemist Warehouse Hurstville a more pleasant experience for everyone.

Chemist warehouse Hurstville Westfield, please take off the rude lady in the perfume section, she is very rude.

Chemist Warehouse always provides bad customer service. The pharmacists generally have poor attitudes but this one top my list. Priceline would provide better pharmacist service.

Went in with my mother to pick up an order, I was looking around the store for her when an Asian guy asked me “What are you doing here”

When I stated I was looking for my mother, he replied “oh really? ” in a sarcastic tone but went into the back as soon as I pointed my mother out to him.

I understand why he would question me as I was wearing all black and I am a teenager but that was not the right way to go about it and I felt very disrespected and antagonised when I did nothing wrong.

The other staff there were friendly and helpful.

They did not have time to issue medical certificate when there was more than an hour left for the store to close and it was not even busy

Extremely poor customer service and can’t be bothered to assist customer. Her name is Candy and she was filling up cosmetic lipstick section around 1: 50pm on 11/04/2023. This job is not for you!

Worst customer service today at 10.36am 09.01.2023 when I called to check about an update of my medication. From the beginning of the conversation she was hesitant to help me. I have spoken to the pharmacist the night before on 08.01.23 about a medication and he was supposed to check if it has dairy as I am lactose intolerant. The lady on the phone straight away tells me to call back later when I asked if she could atleast check the name of the medication in the note. All she did was checked the system and said no there’s nothing here. The guy wrote the note in front of me so I was sure there would be a note under my name. Very disappointed with the chemist warehouse in the Westfield. No intention to help at all.

If I could leave 0 stars for this store I would. The worst service I have ever experienced in my life! Jeffrey (would not provide staff number or surname) chemist in charge on the 24/12/2022 refused to give me Chlorsig even though the GP had just told me that a prescription is not required and to just ask the chemist for it. Jeffrey you are not above the GP's recommendation and you are definitely no better then any other human thinking that you could assert your authority by refusing. You should not be in a job, how chemist warehouse tolerates your incompetence has got me puzzled. Your customer service skills is non existent and your treatment of customers shows little years of experience in the field. Thankfully the chemist directly opposite you supplied me with what I need instantly. Why would I ever go back to this chemist warehouse? This place is now barred on my list, so well done Jeffrey. Will never visit this place again and will spread the word. Wake up chemist warehouse reading the following reviews for this store and the negativity, it needs a shake up.

Don’t trust the pharmacist here! I’m a believer in buying original branded scripts and I’ve just learnt that the medication they sold to me over the past few years (different scripts) are actually generic brands but was told the originals have been ceased manufacturing! Until my friend went to Sylvania and purchased the originals last week!
Shame on you!
Then they add other scripts to my order without consent and put my name on my daughter script! It’s all a mess! Not returning!

I was gifted a lovely surprise of my favourite scent from here that I’ve been wearing for years, little did I know it smelled off and came with a broken cap, the lid was extremely loose, did not sit properly.they refused an exchange and refund even though the lid was faulty.compared it with the same perfume straight from the authentic brand counter, smelled faded faster and was stale.they even claimed the scent from the brand counter was stored incorrectly and compared the scent of faulty product to their stock, apparently which smelled the same.after doing research their perfume is cheap from grey market and it’s old stock.they are transported cheaply and the smell goes off and doesn’t last.they know this.this scent from here and the authentic counter were not the same.there are bad reviews of the same issue on the website: stale scent and broken caps, and forums of workers admitting the wrong way they store the perfumes.dont buy perfumes from here.high end brands such as Chanel, YSL and Christian Dior do not supply to chemist warehouse they are not authorised retailer.disappointed, and after reading all these negative reviews, not surprised with dishonest and bad customer service.they are scamming customers.

Wanted by give a compliment to Duc The Chemist at Westfield Hurstvile. I misplaced my tablets and this kind gentleman offered to deliver a replacement to my home. What a great person this is. I usually find everyone at this store very helpful and they go out of their way to help us customers. Thank you and keep up the good work.

The Chinese lady inside on the counter was very nice Then went outside to buy some perfume The lady there with brown hair was so rude to the customer before me I was shocked then was so rude to me I decided to go elsewhere and spend my money How the hell she got a job there I don’t know I have seen her there a few times when I have walked past and she has the worst look on her face always looks angry and obviously is Lady if you aren’t happy in your job Look for another one

Purely based on the grumpy lady that works outside selling perfume i would not reccomend shopping here. Chemist warehouse really need to get rid of her. She is extremely rude, and is no help at all. Other customers around me also felt the same, A very miserable person, who just by an encounter with her, seem to really ruin the whole day. Smile women

It wasn't just me.the asian lady selling perfume on Sunday morning was so unkind and unpleasant.you can easily feel she is so negative person.don't waste you time to go and get perfume

One of the chinese staff that work on the counter was very rude to me today on march 24th she has a short hair i didn’t know her name if she doesn’t have patience with customers it is better for her to stay at home

I found them to be very helpful to hold some stock for me as l could not out myself to pick it up and l was sending a friend.
They were extremely polite and went out of there way to assist me
I would highly recommend this Store and l will defiinatly be using them again plus the prices are very competitive

On Saturday, I was looking at fragrance at the stand infront of the store.

The young lady serving had no customers at the time. She clearly made no attempt to approach me or engage with me.

When I asked her a question.her response was. I don't know. I felt she couldn't be bothered.

I took my business to another chemist and purchased a fragrance there. The young lady was ever so helpful.

The brunette hair lady with dark drawn eyebrows at the perfume kiosk is the worst person I’ve ever seen in retail!
I was there on 12/04/2022 around 11: 00am, I wanted to asked a question but since I saw her having her head down fixing some price tags on the perfumes I thought I’ll wait until she’s done her job. I waited for at least 3 minutes then she had her head up so I asked her a question.

It was pretty obvious I was speaking to her as there wasn’t any other people around and she was the only one working. I was not getting any looks, replies or anything, she treated me like I didn’t existed! I had to say excuse me in order to grab her attention. Then she looked at me with the most filthiest looks, I asked her why she didn’t answer me and her excuse was she was waiting for me to finish off my question. Well clearly she did hear me talking to her but she totally ignored me! My question was short and straight forward, she deliberately didn’t want to answer me until I had to say excuse me to her.

The looks on her face was a total turn off! I’ve never been treated like this before that I was so upset that I needed to go and speak with the manager. The manager listened to my complaint but if anything is going to be said or done, who knows.

Honestly this is the most horrible experience I’ve ever had with someone in retail. Chemist warehouse you should really train up your staff and teach them what is customer service as there is absolutely nothing with your staff!
