Fantastic experience all round, my wife and I went to chemist warehouse blacktown to get something for my daughters lingering cough, and couldn’t be happier with the customer services from the pharmacist and the customer services attendants, providing helpful advise and direction to get the right product for us, thanks again team at chemist warehouse blacktown!

My aunty asked the sales assistant about a product she wanted to get for her elderly husband.she mentioned his medical problems and was told the product would be perfect for him. She went home unpacked it and her son read the pamphlet that was in the box stating if you have these types of medical conditions you can't use this product. She took the pamphlet to her Dr and showed him and he said no he can't use it, it will kill him. So she went back within 7 days spoke to the female staff Jr who took it down the back to show someone and had ripped the box open. She came back to my aunty and said we can only give you store credit! My aunty said no I have brought it back in the 7 day's with the docket it hasn't been used. Jr said instore credit or get out of here take it or leave it. She went back later and zack was going to give her the cash refund until Jr came screaming down saying no no instore credit or nothing. What type of scam are these people running here. $450 is a lot of money for age pensioners. The manager doesn't seem to care he sounds half asleep when you talk to him he says he can't help you he will pass you on to someone who can. You sold a product under false pretences now won't give back a aged pensioner her cash back. Disgusting people

I would prefer choosing ZERO stars unfortunately I wasn't able to do so. Staff member never calls out my name while waiting for prescription. After a few hours WASTED rude staff member blamed me for not checking with them and not doing THEIR JOB for them instead of apologizing for WASTING my time. I will NEVER EVER gonna step foot on this shop anymore evenif my LIFE depends on it.

Always terrible service, made me wait 30 minutes while they called my doctor to confirm. They called they doctor only to find out the product wasn't in stock afterwards

Thats a -1. This may be the worst customer service store I've ever been to.
I strongly suggest everyone should not go there anymore then it will send the manager a wake up call.

I wish there's an option for zero (0) or even negative star, because Chemist Warehouse Blacktown employed one of the most rude, arrogant and with nonchalant attitude employee.
While waiting on a long queue to pay, I could hear one of the staff who was very loud and I could tell he was one of those who processes payment like and treats customers like they were just in a conveyor belt. When he yelled 'NEXT', I hesitated for awhile, but decided to go to his counter.
While putting all the vitamins on the counter, I told him that'll I'll be adding a few more perfume items that were being advertised in front of his counter. Because I was wearing a mask, in a very rude manner he told me that he couldn't hear me. I proceeded getting the additional items and placed them on the counter. I then asked him where I should place the basket, to which he yelled 'OVER THERE! '
After I tapped my credit card for payment, I proceeded to take the plastic bag and wait for my receipt without realising that it was asking for my pin number. He then yelled again 'PIN NUMBER'. So I entered my pin after giving me my receipt. I told him that 'being in the customer service, it would be helpful if he could be more polite and smile to his customers'. To which he growled 'I DON'T HAVE TO! '. And then he left.
So I spoke to the guy who was serving next to him, who apparently was one of the managers. I told him what had happened and asked the name of the rude staff. He hesitated for awhile and as if not wanting to give me the name he said he 'thinks' it's 'Abdul' or 'Abdullah'. I told him that they should learn how to train staff in correct customer service.

I usually don’t take the time out to write reviews, but I wanted to give a shout out to Abdul! I came to the store looking for a perfume as a Christmas gift. He took the time out to listen to what I wanted. And was super patient despite the fact that I took my time to smell sooo many perfumes. He has EXCEPTIONAL customer service skills and was such a delight. Thank you again for your help!

Chemist warehouse Blacktown not advisable to go there specially when that old lady with blonde hair is there.
She is not welcoming or even show u items with pleasure.
She will keep looking at u as u criminal or thief.
I hate going there, even though they re such good team starting from the security stuff.
Plz try put smilly stuff who let u feel comfortable to come back there.

I wish there was a 0 rate they don’t even deserved this one star! I take my mum today together with my mum’s two friend. My mum didn’t bought anything but my mum’s friends bought perfumes which they were super excited to purchase for their grand daughters. On our way out the security checked the receipts which was normal. The mums get ready their receipt on the way out and showed it however they interrogated them and started opening their bags that caused blocking the exit. The security asked abt the small Vaseline lotion which was bought to other pharmacy. My mums friend no that’s not yours (reason why it wasn’t on the receipt) first thing the security asked “where is the receipt of the Vaseline! It was like as if they were treated as a “shop lifters” the security took the Vaseline and said they will look into the camera? ! I was like what? That security guard don’t even have the right to bring that Vaseline which was purchased on her own money as the guard instantly claim it was from Chemist Warehouse? ! It didn’t even took a minute when he came out giving back the small Vaseline lotion back to mums’ friend! Are you kidding me? This is a serious and big time “RACIAL DISCRIMINATION”! As we were waiting I have noticed that A lot of customers most specially Aussies who would go out just showing the receipt without being asked to open their bags or perhaps counted the items they have on their reciepts. The worse is that the Arab, the African securities were all so RUDE and didn’t even apologized! If you guys would be checking the purchased items from the bags you all should do it to everyone! NEVER AGAIN WOULD HAVE COME HERE AND WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS! What a inhuman behavior, they have treated mums friends like a shop lifter! Disgusting security workers there and disrespectful to women’s as well!

I hope the management will see this and get their people trained as they surely lack GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The staff are so rude especially one of the female pharmacists she was standing chatting to her friend for a couple of minutes she even hugged her I waited patiently just wanting to know what isle something was in I say excuse me and before I could ask she says I'm busy I'm with a patient I'm sorry for one ur not a Dr for 2 that's no patient when ur talking about what u were talking about for 3 who the heck hugs patients haha what a piece of work she is gave her a piece of my mind and left stuff this place

I didn't catch her name, but I wanted to thank the pharmacist-in training who served us at the prescriptions-in counter. Not only did she have an excellent and respectful manner towards customers, but she was knowledgeable in medications, vitamins and lifestyle choices to supplement my health care needs.

I usually don't write reviews online, much less negative or non-favourable reviews. But this one tested my tolerance limit. Pharmacist staff at this place is totally disrespectful. Wait times are horrible. When I inquired after waiting 45 minutes for my prescription why it was taking so long, the staff member rudely told me that I can go away to another place if I wish. They behave as if the customers are beggars queueing over there to collect free medicines. The lady pharmacist had the audacity to proclaim loudly 'all pharmacists are b@$t@rd$' instead of trying to figure out what is taking so long. In addition, there are so many other things wrong with this place.
1) They used to hand out paging devices in the past, which they have now stopped. So the customers have to wait outside the dispensing desk and can't do shopping in the store while their prescriptions are being prepared.
2) They don't even have the announcements going on, so the customers waiting for their prescriptions can't even go away and shop. They are forced to wait helplessly near the dispensing desk.
3) Instead of playing soothing music, the sick people waiting endlessly for their prescription are bombarded with the Nexpro tablet advertisements non stop. What's the point of giving headaches to people who are already sick?
4) Since the customers names are not called out on announcements or no buzzing devices are handed out, they cannot even use headphones for killing time.
5) There are not enough waiting chairs. Already meagre waiting chairs are put in front of aisles where other customers are hovering over their heads making the seated customers feel embarrassed.

Stephen from chemist warehouse Blacktown was amazing! His service was awesome! Products not on shelf, but he looked in the system and open a new box and was so helpful. We need more Stephens in retail customer service. Thank you!

Sent my hubby in on my behalf (as I was sick and had laryngitis) to pickup over the counter cough syrup that didn’t need a prescription - per my GP and the medical pamphlet. He was denied for some reason that was not made clear to him. I asked for an alternative brand that was stocked behind the counter (everywhere else it is just on the shelves), and this was also denied by the same pharmacist. The pharmacist on Monday 1/8 at approx 8.15pm should really look at their decision making skills and how they qualify customers, considering they’re one of the only pharmacies open past 7pm in the evening in Blacktown. I can only assume racial profiling and negative intent aided the pharmacists behaviour and decision. My husband had to drive half An hour to pickup the same cough syrup from another Chemist warehouse with absolutely no issues.
I hope management understands that the welfare and health of customers are at risk while an egocentric pharmacist is at the helm making biased calls that impact your community.
We will not be returning to this store.

Absolutely rude service. What was supposed to be an easy behind the counter purchase for cough medicine. Turned into an interrogation and refusal to serve me.

Stock and pricing are really good. But I observed behaviour of few staff members are not respectable to the customers. Some of them do not have knowledge of items and they ignore or give wrong information Once I asked questions regarding the vitamins and I got the very unusual and rude answer from the lady with bold eyelashes and brown in colour. Again the second incident happened with me when i confirmed and checked with one of the senior staff member that the item can be exchanged as per their return policy and he said no problem at all. But as I went to pay for that the same lady agin speaking in very disrespectful way that it can not be changed, when I just politely tried to pass my discussion with the another staff member she said I know better as I am the manager, the lady with bold eyelashes may be from south India. Whatever the situation at least they should maintain the dignity of customers if they are working with such a big brand otherwise these kind of staff members should stay at home. And if she is the manager, I have newer seen this kind of false attitude in managers.

I believe it was on 27/05/22 that I went into Blacktown Chemist Warehouse to have 2 scripts filled. The staff member at the prescription counter didn't understand what generic meds were. He didn’t seem to be a pharmacist or a student pharmacist. He seemed dizzy and confused. Afterward, the chemist managed to somehow close off the repeats on my e-scripts, showing them as fully dispensed when they weren't. I didn’t realise this until I was due to get my next refill and I was in a panic because I cannot stop these abruptly. I couldn't see a GP then either, it was closing time on a weekend. I called Blacktown C/Warehouse myself but they wouldn’t take my call or request seriously! I live in Mosman, and I never ordinarily use any other C/Warehouse than my local one, but on this occasion, I was in Blacktown when I had my script filled - so travelling from Nth Syd to West Syd was very far and costly for me to go see Blacktown C/Warehouse store in person (fuel and tolls and time) My GP's receptionist had to call and argue with Chemist Warehouse Blacktown staff to fix this reckless oversight so I can get my meds asap. This is medically negligent. I have complained to Pharmacy Council of New South Wales

Went to return a product and the lady (a senior staff member, blondish hair, indian subcontinental) started off by falsely claiming I had opened an unopened product. When that failed she said I wasn't entitled to a refund as it had been more than 24 hours on a change of mind which is also incorrect. I returned later and showed their own returns policy on the website to other staff which were pleasant to deal with and got a refund. Make sure you review their returns policy first and keep it with you when you go into the store. If they try to lie to you, ask them to show you the specific area of the returns policy that applies.

In the prescription area, they are busy most of the time. Most of the people working there will ignore you. Plus the general place is small and mostly crowded with people. You need to have a lot of patience if you want to buy prescription medications.
