Horrible customer service by pharmacists, I asked for brand-name medicines they gave me the generic and said it was the brand-name medicines.

Rubbish customer service and the pharmacist have absolute no clue to what he is doing. For a big company like this chose your employees carefully. Won't come back.

I went in there to buy a packet of mersynonight WHICH IS OVER THE COUNTER pain medication OVER THE COUNTER WHICH MEANS NO PRESCRIPTION NEEDED. I lined up at the pharmacy and told the lady (she had a slight accent) she asked me what I was taking it for I proceeded to tell her period pain and migraines. She then told me the medicine is NOT TO BE USED FOR either period pain and or migraine REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE BOX and proceeded to escort me to some period panadol which DOES NOT WORK as I have both endometriosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome. I WENT HOME TO MAKE SURE I was correct before posting this review BUT AS STATED ON THE PRODUCTS PACKAGE AND WEBSITE THE PRODUCT IS TO BE USED FOR PERIOD PAIN MIGRAINES and many other things associated with pain. She literally treated me like some strung out junkie because I wanted relief from my period.
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
ANYTHING THAT IS OVER THE COUNTER SHOULD NOT BE POLICED NOR JUDGED LIKE I WAS.
She was a middle aged pharmacist I went in last week. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING to deny someone medicine and then proceed to give me a two dollar panadol version

I am not taking morphine or endone. I just wanted pain relief for a period

They are severely under-staff, this means queue is long.and they have no time for you. Everything is a rush here. If they promise to call you, you can forget about it. They do injections but there's no actual waiting area, only a couple of chairs.very bad. They don't care about appointment times, they keep you waiting and waiting. Avoid this chemist at all cost.

This place uses student pharmacists who do not have experience for less pay than hiring experienced pharmacists just for profit. Student pharmacists make a lot of mistakes. Owners value only their profit more than your life so be careful.

Large but clean store, despite the size, easy to find what you need and staff very helpful. It was busy but the line up moved quickly. It was a little busy but a smile and thank you at the register wouldn't have gone astray, hence 4 stars.

Poor service from staff and assistant manager.
I went in this morning around 10: 30 asking for a particular perfume pack, a staff member searched on the computer to confirm they had in stock as it wasn’t on the shelves, they had 5 in stock she asked for another staff member to check out the back and near the front and that lady came back and said it’s out the back and I will have to come back another day or do click and collect and pick up in 2 days time. So I ordered it online for click and collect and it was ready a few hours later. I went back in to complain to the assistant manager as I just feel I wasn’t given 110% good customer service and they couldn’t be bothered going the extra mile.
When I told this to the assistant manager she didn’t want to listen to what I had to say, and just defended the staff and saying that I should consider myself lucky they got that stock out and I got my order today. Nothing but rudeness and staff can’t even crack a smile half the time.

Security guard shouldn’t work there if he can’t learn to smile. Barely get welcomed in whenever I go there to shop. I ordered some things yesterday from the website and they confirmed it around 3 pm in the afternoon and then didn’t get back to me again until 6 pm in the afternoon and it’s now nearly 9 am and I still haven’t gotten any update on my order. Ridiculous. I love shopping there but if they are going to take this long to do something especially when people don’t have the time to sit around and wait and have to get stuff done. Ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous. Don’t work there if you are going to not smile and not even welcome customers. Rude attitude also. And I don’t know what the manger looks like but they don’t even come out to see how everyone is everyone is going. I can’t even remember the last time they asked if I needed help looking for something. Boyfriend and I go there from time to time and don’t even get a crack of a smile from anyone. I leave the place feeling absolutely disgusted in my gut from the times they never welcome you or help you. Hire better staff or don’t work there.

I bought a prescribed lotion on 12th August to ease redness on some spots on my face. After two days, my face became so red and irritated. So, my dermatologist asked me to stop it immediately. It has been more than two weeks, but the severity of the redness has not reduced at all and I have to cover my face with make-up. I was about to discard the bottle and it turned out the lotion had expired in January 2022. That explains why! I got full refund after voicing my complaint, but I didn't receive any apology for the mishap. I have no idea why the store sold me expired prescription item, but they were supposed to do strict quality control before selling them to customers. Thank you for ruining my face! I just pray that the damage on my face is not permanent

Went in yesterday to purchase perfume. I don’t know if it’s the security guard or a actual worker where the perfume is? But he need’s to work on his customer service, as well as leaving empty boxes on the ground I almost tripped over them. If you really hate your job find a new one. He was all smiles helping another lady working there but when I politely asked for a sample of a perfume I got a grunt & dragging of the feet. I live closer too Rooty Hill’s chemist warehouse but i usually drive further too St Mary’s as they have a bigger variety of everything. I work in face to face customer service & I understand people can be having a off day but picking & choosing of whom you deliver great customer service too isn’t a good look. I even asked for a sample of the Si Giorgio Armani perfume, he then proceeded too give attitude & I side look like I cannot afford it. This one star is for the lady that served me at the check out counter her customer service was great!

I've read the glowing reviews on here, but I have to say my experiences with them have been far from great. Rude pharmacy techs who question a Dr's perscription and then call the Doctor while you are there to tell them what they didn't write or dot the i on the persciption. Staff who ignore you, I have never been approached and asked if I needed help. Blaring music in the doorway with a masked gaurd taking temps, I ghet tjhat, but still kinda intimidating. The checkout process is complicated and frustrating, the persciptions are put in a lock box, which you have to take to the front of the store to the cashiers who if they don't understand the stuff, have to phone the back of the store to ask the pharmacy. Ive been five timesa, just to see if things would change, nope. So Owners or manager of this place, it's time to train your staff on how to be efficient salespeople, to have good product knowledge, not to let their frustrations be taken out on the customers. I willl never go back except in an emergency and to be truthfull there are sao many chemists in st marys I'd rather frequent a samller one where I can get the service I'm paying for.

Good service and friendly staff - teething issues from launch have been resolved, not too crowded like other branches can be + feels more spacious.

Cheapest prices for prescription and pharmacy only medicine.

As a “golden oldie” on my first visit to the St Marys branch, I noticed there were no signs as to what products were in what aisles. Needing to buy five separate items and realising I would be doing a marathon around the shop I enlisted the help of a very nice young female staff member who quickly found everything I was looking for. The prices were good and I can only say thank you for the help I encountered in the new St Marys Chemist Warehouse. Needless to say, when the occasion arises I will shop there again.
