82I'm very happy with the Medical Centre. Dr Khalesi is thorough, respectful and pleasant and all ancillary services are just what you'd expect.
I visited Chatswood Medical Centre seeking help for a severely inflamed right knee. The situation was urgent as my knee was visibly swollen and noticeably warmer than my left knee. The pain was excruciating, making it incredibly difficult to walk without experiencing sharp discomfort.
I made an appointment for 4 pm to see Dr. Susan Pen. Regrettably, the experience fell far short of my expectations. Despite the urgency of my condition, the service I received was below par and dissapointing.
Not only did I feel rushed through the consultation, but I also sensed a lack of empathy and thoroughness in addressing my concerns. I received no examination, nor a detailed analysis of the issue or a clear plan for treatment.the whole consultation lasted less than 2 minutes, followed by a referral paper for an X-ray and a verbal script of Panadol which doesn't even have anti-inflammatory properties to ease the condition i have.
I sincerely hope that improvements are made in the level of attention, empathy, and thoroughness of care for future patients, as everyone deserves compassionate and competent medical attention, especially in moments of distress.
It used to be one of the best medical practices in Sydney but now unfortunately it's the worst.
Horrible customer service, long long wait times and majority of the time, they say we have no doctors available, even hours before closing times.
This place definitely requires change of management/directors.
Dr Cindy Pan is excellent! So professional, caring and thorough. Would highly recommend her.
For the last few days I have been trying to make an apt for Dr. Justin Karpas as I am going to Tamworth Tuesday Sept. 3 for my brother' wife's funeral. HotDoc is useless and Centre Phone does not answer. I keep on hanging but just get ads! Surely there must be some one in charge to take bookings. Have been going to the medical & Dental Centre for over 40 years and it has been almost impossible over the past several years. NB. I have just put the 'phone down. Time 5.10pm after a a long discussion with a receptionest she suggested I phone the Clinic tomorrow at 7am and when I said that would not work as I could not raise anyone, she said a Dr would call me on my landline or mobile of which she had both numbers. How can this contact, in th future be improved? Thank you. NB Perhaps Nada might be advised? I'm sure she could be of help. Bruce Meppem
Visit this centre for 3 times.
1st visit was for me, doctor was rude.
2nd visit was for my son, and got different doctor also super rude and rush.so i said to myself that i will not visit this centre ever.
Then, unfortunately, 3rd visit, because its sunday and only them open, and couldnt believe, he is rude also.
I dont know what happened, maybe he has long bad day.but no one deserve treated badly.
Terrible service, no regard for patients at all. Had a Telehealth appointment and never received a call. This has happened multiple times before as well. Receptionist never answer the phone, but if they do, you’ll be on hold for at least an hour. Majority of the time, I’ve seen receptionist on their personal phones while the clinic phones are ringing which is absolutely disgusting.
Their service is good except no one ever answer the phone. Very disappointing with their phone process.
I selected a Telehealth Service and Never got a call, tried to contact Chatswood medical Center but no one transferred it to the front desk operator. Very bad service.
Dont bother calling, they dont answer.
Other than that, the receptionist that I saw in person was lovely today, cant remember his name - was here from 4-6pm. However, the booking system is atrocious! Waited over 1 hour on the phone at 9am (the morning receptionists clearly don’t answer the phone…) and the HotDoc system doesn’t show all the free times that are actually available. Would give it 0 if it wasn’t for the receptionist being so nice and understanding.

The receptionist girl was pleasant and I had no waiting downstairs. My Dr saw me earlier than my appointment time, which was great.
Only can give 1 star since there is no 0 star. Long waiting time for walk in, came at 2: 30pm and wait until 6pm still been told need to wait for a bit longer. Bad attitude and bad time management. Never come back again.
I saw my Doctor Ping Li who is amazing.
I would like to request that the check In machine be in order so I could do it automatically and not wait in a queue.
Also I was very surprised that a majority of patients who we’re waiting on level 1 were not wearing masks! This is concerning especially with a few people coughing.
You cannot go to a hospital without wearing a mask. Please ensure that this is mandated to keep everyone safe.
Waited over 4 hours just to see a gp. Don’t bother coming if you don’t have an appointment.
I saw dr xiaoxian pan and she tried her best to help me with my needs, she was great with trying to communicate and explain my health issues and I appreciated that a lot
Bit of a wait as to be expected with any medical centre really, friendly staff, professional doctor and open till 8pm.
All the staff do a superb job.
From the reception staff, pharmacy staff and allied health staff.
The GPs offer a wide range of services and each with their own unique experience and skills.
I am always treated well and referred on to specialist services when needed. All covered under Medicare which is greatly appreciated.
The service was good, everything was in order and quiet, and it's easy to find the functional area following the marking guideline. The only small flaw is it's crowded sometime, making uncomfortable in squeezing space.
Reception team were efficient and doctor was smart and on time. Nothing more I need from a doctors visit
