Charleston's Fine Art Auctions

Charleston’s Fine Art Auctions is a wonderful experience. We have purchased a number of pieces through their physical and online auctions. The artworks and framing are always in exceptional condition and the service is second to none. The online auctions offer a great experience and Adam and his team are always available for any questions or assistance. We couldn’t speak more highly of Charleston’s and we look forward to being involved in future auctions.

We’ve bought a number of artworks from Charleston’s over the years. The level of service is excellent and all the staff are professional and friendly. Price-wise —- well, it’s an auction house — if you want something that no one else is interested in, you can certainly find a deal. If you are competing with others, you may not get as great a deal but you can generally always beat gallery pricing, even after you factor in the surcharge.

Hopeless horrible service, complete customer contempt, the rudest customer service experience i have ever had. Avoid at all coast a complete mickey mouse organization who treat prospective buyers like dirt and have no qualms in doing i. They also completely misrepresent items online - posters are not art work as they advertise, complete joke of a company avoid at all costs

I have participated in Charleston's Fine Art Auctions for several years, most recently online and couldn't be happier. The auctioneer is entertaining and keeps things moving along. The back office is efficient with invoices and payments and they respond quickly to any queries. Pickup or delivery has also worked well for me.

I thought they were excellent. A very smooth process with the artwork i purchased bubble wrapped to perfection which is not done by some other suppliers.

A very satisfying experience. Charleston’s did everything they said they would do, the Auction was fast and efficient, the communications excellent and the delivery exactly as promised.
The initial registration/ bidding exercise was a bit clunky, the links could be improved, but even I got through that and successfully bid on several lots which we are very pleased with. Their follow up has also been spot on.

First time with this auction house and experience was very good. Easy to register & bid. Staff were friendly, delivery received promptly and safely packaged beyond expectations. Items in auction were of a high standard. Will check out the next one for sure.

Adam and his team are awesome. We have purchased a few pieces from Charleston's and we have been impressed with their communication, their responsiveness, the timeliness of delivery and off-course the art. Our last piece was a Bromley nude painting of Rosie. I had a question after we had won the piece and still during the auction and Adam was communicating with us and found the answer then and there. Wow.

I would recommend working with Adam and his team to begin or add to your collection. Wonderful service.

First time participating in a live auction. Was a bit apprehensive, but once I got into it actually got a bit of an adrenaline rush as well as some amazing pieces. Was so good that I also purchased two more the following auction. Great variety. Great prices. Great service Will definitely be keeping an eye out on coming auctions. Charleston’s provided excellent advice and clear information about the auction process. The friendly and professional service received made the whole process straightforward and hassle free. Assistance with delivery of my purchase of the Jaanda Hayes “Bush Medicine Leaves” was highly important and they again provided excellent advice. 5 Stars! We weren't sure about the online auction process but it went very well. Having the catalogue online in advance was terrific to do research before purchasing. Picked up some amazing artwork. Very happy and the team were so friendly and professional! Highly recommend!
