Chapters & Leaves reviews
25I had the most delightful experience at Chapters and Leaves! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service. The atmosphere exudes a tranquil charm, making it the perfect haven for relaxation and indulgence. And oh, the scones! Every visit feels like a rejuvenating escape. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a perfect blend of exceptional service, soothing ambiance, and heavenly scones.
If you want the authenticity of what the Blue Mountains is about, do not pass Go, Do not collect $200, you MUST come to this gem of a cafe. It is warm and inviting, filled with books to read giving you the opportunity to just “be” while you enjoy one of their many teas or coffees they have on offer.
Not much of a reader? That’s fine, they have board games. You’re a parent that hasn’t had a hot beverage in a while? Look no further, they have a beautiful kids corner where your children are welcome to pass the time so you can have that hot tea!
You’re a senior and feel overwhelmed by the trendy cafes? This is your retreat. This place screams inclusivity and community, a must to go to. If you go don’t pass up their home made jams but if you like GMO filled food, probably don’t go here. They only fill your soul and tummies with goodness.
The good vibes here are off the charts. Perfect break for a mama and toddler with cosy armchairs next to a toy kitchen and books
Great little cafe with amazing decorations. Service was good, food good, coffee delicious and the choice of tea amazing.
Fantastic tea shop - the menu has lots of delicious options, the staff are super friendly, and the decor is cozy.
If you're in the area and have any interest in tea (or coffee or hot chocolate), I highly recommended dropping in - you will have an excellent time
Great & lovely teas to try & they do have coffee. They have home made scones yum & lots of things to look at & buy while your enjoying your cuppa.
Tea lovers' heaven, herbal as well as many camellia varieties, nice slices too. Baby friendly.
Scones were amazing, paired with a good pot of Earl Grey tea, on a rainy day. Perfect combination. Will definitely make a point to stop by next time!
We are locals but have never visited before. Well that was silly. This is a cute/ spacious cafe. A HUGE range of teas, fabulous scones, beautiful jams and the thickest cream. Lots of other goodies too. Plenty of GF sweeties also.
There’s books, records, teas and other items for sale.
Thoroughly enjoyed our visit
The staff are always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. We love their scones and homemade jam which are always 10/10. Their sticky chai is also a must and a big favourite of ours as well as the chocolate tea. Always worth the visit thank you.
This place was so good we had to come back twice (and drove up from Sydney for it). The scones were the fluffiest with handmade raspberry jam and clotted cream, the toasties were warm and filling and the tea is the best in NSW, beating out a certain commercial tea retailer in the flavour and depth of an English Breakfast. The staff were so nice and accomodating, chatting with a smile and letting you browse the retail side filled with quirky little knick-knacks (perfect for gifts) and tea. It’s definitely a local favourite too, as it’s been filled two mornings in a row. Worth the visit? Absolutely. Getting a scone? Get two.
Amazing scones, delicious selection of tea and delightfully lovely staff. Will ruin all other scones for you
Absolutely fabulous service, tea was amazing and the scones were the best I've ever had. Sarah made us feel very welcome and was happy having a chat with our (very chatty) son. Beautiful comfy chairs and books to relax with while you sip your tea and take in the mountain air. Highly recommend.
Lovely, friendly and courteous staff that are always available for a chat or a recommendation. Fantastic atmosphere and decor. The food and drinks are exquisite, fresh made and fairly priced. The best cafe Faulconbridge could ask for.
Highly recommend a visit to Chapters & Leaves. When we visited the Cafe owners couldn’t do enough to get us comfortable. We ordered coffees & scones. The scones were simply excellent. We’ll worth a visit during a trip to Blue Mountains.
Always love a visit here. I’m not local but make a point of stopping in whenever I’m in the Blue Mountains. The Devonshire tea is impeccable. The staff are friendly and very helpful when selecting tea. It’s so great to try before you buy so to speak. I love all of their quirky wares. The new bigger shop is much better for covid safe enjoyment and browsing.
My chai latte & toasted sandwhich was delicious. Leave time to check out the many gifts for sale.
Our family loves this cafe! Consistently fresh scones, delicious jam and cream and a great selection of tea to choose from! A wonderful spot for morning/arvo tea!
Beautiful little cafe!
Delicious coffee and yummiest cakes!
Definitely worth popping into if you are heading to the mountains!
Sweet little shop with an excellent range of teas and other tea related equipment/ gifts. I went here today with my partner and had tea and cake.l also found the most beautiful tea caddy as a gift for my mum! Will definitely be back to try more teas. If you're a tea lover or in need of a gift for someone who is - this is the place to go!
