Speechless, Speechless, the lake needs to be cleaned up, and the rest environment is not clean enough, I hope it can be changed for the better.

Another beautiful feature of the Western Sydney Parklands. Great for Wedding and formal photos. Love the waterfall. Very relaxing if you like listening to water running.

Wedding gardens on the opposite side of the pond that connects to bushwalking trails full of birds, frogs (if you can see them) and other wildlife as well as a mini train network which has recently been up graded.

An oasis in Western Sydney. Heaps of covered options and open spaces for group gatherings or a quiet afternoon. Bathrooms and BBQ areas always clean.

Nice place for a relaxing walk, plenty of space for picnic or frisbee, the only thing missing here is couple of hundred of colorful koi in the ponds.

Chang Lai Yuan Gardens in Sydney is a hidden gem that's not to be missed. This beautiful garden is a peaceful oasis in the heart of the city, offering visitors a chance to escape the hustle and bustle and enjoy some serene natural beauty. Best of all, the gardens are pram accessible, making them an ideal destination for families with young children.

As you enter Chang Lai Yuan Gardens, you'll immediately be struck by the tranquility of the space. The garden is filled with winding paths, lush greenery, and serene water features, creating a sense of calm and relaxation that's hard to find in the city. Whether you're looking to enjoy a quiet stroll, meditate in a peaceful space, or simply take in the natural beauty of the area, Chang Lai Yuan Gardens has something to offer.

One of the best things about the gardens is their accessibility. The paths are well-maintained and flat, making them easy to navigate with a pram or wheelchair. This means that families with young children can enjoy the gardens without worrying about their little ones getting tired or fussy. There are also plenty of benches and rest areas throughout the gardens, providing a place to take a break and relax.

But the true beauty of Chang Lai Yuan Gardens lies in its carefully curated landscape. The gardens feature a range of traditional Chinese plants and flowers, including bamboo, wisteria, and lotus flowers. These plants are arranged in a way that creates a sense of harmony and balance, reflecting the principles of traditional Chinese garden design.

Throughout the gardens, you'll also find a range of traditional Chinese architecture and sculpture. From the beautiful pagoda to the intricate rock formations, these features add to the sense of cultural immersion that visitors experience at Chang Lai Yuan Gardens.

But perhaps the most striking feature of the gardens is the lake at its center. The lake is surrounded by lush greenery and dotted with water lilies and lotus flowers, creating a peaceful and serene space that's perfect for quiet reflection or relaxation. Visitors can even take a boat ride on the lake, providing a unique and immersive experience that's hard to find in the city.

Overall, I would highly recommend Chang Lai Yuan Gardens to anyone visiting Sydney. It's a beautiful and peaceful destination that offers a unique and immersive experience of traditional Chinese culture and design. With its pram accessibility and range of facilities, it's also a great destination for families with young children. So if you're looking for a peaceful and beautiful oasis in the heart of the city, be sure to check out Chang Lai Yuan Gardens. You won't be disappointed!

Surprised there is an ancient Chinese style pavilions, terraces and open halls in this west suburb. Plenty of free parking and BBQ areas. After researching, the meaning of ChangLai is the pronunciation combination of Blacktown and Dongchang which are sister cities.

Lovely gardens, many people get married here and take marriage photos. Chang Lai gardens and Nurragingy Reserve are both lovely places to visit and relax with family and friends.

Some of the recent rainfall has made the area very wet and slippery, some of the lakes are covered in moss. Hopefully cleanup takes place soon.

It was open Easter Sunday despite the website alert for parks.
Parking is great before 1030am!
Toilets are in the main building.
It’s one lap but else you can check out other park related landscapes such as kids play area or have a rest At the lake side and there is some seating for you to have a rest. Lots of potholes on the way in…

Chang Lai Yuan Garden is a typical Chinese classical garden of Ming and Qing dynasties. It is one of great place that I visited. Good for walking, picnic and more activities. Beautiful gardens, waterfall, lake and stone bridge.
Located within Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside. There are America Garden, New Zealand Garden etc. Nurragingy Blacksmith’s hut and Lorikeet Marsh Boardwalk

Lovely place for a family picnic or just to sit and relax. Plenty of open space for the kids to run around and play or they can play on the many playgrounds or the water park on hot days. Lots of BBQs both gas and wood burners located throughout the park. If your interested in bird watching, there are many species throughout the reserve.
Beautiful location for wedding or any special event photographs.

Picturesque garden featuring classic Chinese structures, a waterfall, lake & stone bridge. The architectural style of the structures within the garden is based on the Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty in China, and feature a Gateway, Seven Arch Stone Bridge, Light Mountain Pavillion and a Waterfall Gazebo. Very picturesque, stunning and relaxing. A beautiful spot to spend time with family. Quiet, clean with attractive views. Plenty of free car park. If you like walking, there are a lot of routes to enjoy. Highly recommended.
