Horrible loud music im just tryna browse some games in peace not be subjected to their music at full blast

I bought a used PS4 controller. They gave controllers that did not work 2 times. I will go back for the 3rd time tomorrow and I definitely do not recommend you to buy any product.

I am adding. I went again today. I said that one of the 2 controllers is broken. Since I had problems 3 times, I want to refund both controllers. According to the company, the broken control is solid. They did not accept returns. A company that is so arrogant to say you can go and complain about us. They certainly don't care about customer satisfaction. They did not give refunds and gave gift vouchers for the products. Definitely stay away from this company.

Was really happy to see CeX operated in Aus as I'm currently out here visiting a friend and managed to pick him up a Xbox 360 (in great condition) + some games to go with it all with ease.

They don't allow you to change your store credit back to cash. Do not get store credit. Everything is overpriced and you can find things much cheaper elsewhere. When asking staff here to show me any information about this in terms and conditions they were unable to advise me. It did not state nor was it told to me that I would not be able to exchange store credit for cash later. Very very disappointing. Now have to waste money on very expensive items in store.

Very friendly staff who knew exactly what I was after & had it ready upon pick up.

CEX is a great place to visit when you feel like watching some movies that night with out paying top dollar!

Two words. Don’t. Bother.
Bought a phone for tradie husband who runs his own business and relies heavily on his phone for calls. We were told phones have been tested, checked and are working 100%. Great, we purchased a strong cover and put a screen protector on it which cost $$. Get home and phone does not work - can’t hear the person on the other end of the phone call. We bring the phone in the next day. Get a replacement phone and the manager was kind enough to buy another screen protector for us as I was upset about loosing the first one. Get home and phone does not work again! Same issue, cannot hear when making a phone call. We got a refund but were pretty much told tough luck on the case and screen protector. Not compensated at all for any of the inconvenience or money lost. Absolutely hopeless. Save yourself the trouble and headache and go somewhere else.

Customer service- mediocre
And also their prices are a rip off. Don't sell anything there unless it's about your livelihood or smth. Plus the waiting time is like an hour-45mins minimum so i recommend bringing some water and snacks. I also don't recommend buying anything because you can get anything much cheaper and much better thru online mediums.

Great customer service and the employees know what they're doing.

Don't expect then to take anything that isn't in mint condition and don't expect to get even half what you bought it for.

Great experience selling some stuff. I got a reasonable price which I traded for store credit. Cex has a great range of games and electronics which makes store credit a great option. Staff were friendly. Have also bought many used games as well. Prices are very reasonable.

Always friendly and super helpful. I have a physical disability and staff helped me find what i was looking for.

Staff are always polite and professional. In general, my experience with CeX as a company have all been positive. Any issues were always dealt with promptly and fairly.

If you want to sell any items, don't accept bank transfer! They say they have transferred it, and then when something happens, its a "bank issue. "

Demand cash, or don't sell to them. As if you have any issues, nothing can be done. The store doesn't even have a contact phone number, generally you have the staff using their personal numbers for any contact, and when something needs to be escalated, they can call someone, but customers a pushed to sending an email only, and just waiting to hope for a reply.

Issue still not resolved, and will take it further with Department of Fair Trading, should they continue to ignore me.

Always loved Cex. Its always great if ya strapped for cash and need cash desperately and ya can sell your video games and games consoles. Been to the numerous stores many a time. Staff are friendly and I love getting cheap DVDs for like 50c and $2 even big name movies. Don't get much if ya sell DVDs to them though. I think I got 5c for selling American Pie 1 and 2 to them. Yeah for both in a double pack! Geez! But I tell you what though. I would never pay a whopping $1,250 for a second hand PS5 console. Not unless I only had only a week to live. I like getting the receipt that tells you how much each DVD or game is that they're giving ya if you sell to them. They could've put this store on the bottom floor.but anyway.

This place is really good to go to the staff who work here are friendly and helpful and they can help you find what you are looking for they sell a lot of different products such as DVDs console's and games and phones and computers also you can trade in your products or sell it to them for cash or a store credit/ voucher to use in the store
