Cessnock West Newspower

We stayed overnight in Cessnock for a wedding on the Saturday. I dropped in to the newsagent for a wedding card and was asked by the wife to pick up another one for a different couple at the same time which I did. Ten minutes later I was messaged by my wife to say not to bother buying the second card- they found theirs Went back to newsagent to return the card that was no longer required & was told by the young guy working there- We don’t take returns just because you change your mind. I said- I didn’t change my mind, I still want mine, another couple thought they had lost theirs, but then they found it. Response?
No, we don’t take returns.
Seriously, how difficult would it have been for this young male sales assistant to say Sure I completely understand. Happy to help you out. But no, easier to be rude & difficult. Disappointing customer service.

Love this newsagent. It's so personable. Go in all the time to buy my lotto tickets and buy some of the beautiful giftwares leading up to Christmas

Great one stop News agency with an outstanding range of giftware. If they don't have what you want they can get it for you. I love the range of Christmas lotto and scratchy present packs they sell. Staff are always friendly and welcoming.

Really great service. The store is well set out and easy to find things. I enjoyed going through the gift ware, as there was such a variety of things out there

Great little news agency. Staff have a good sense of humour and theme dress for special events. If you know what your looking for, you can park at the door and be in and out quickly, very convenient.

Great Newsagent located just outside the main street. Everything you need in a newsagency. Parking is ample on street.
