Disrespectful, unprofessional and disappointing.

I previously held this agency and the owner in high regard. Until today.

‘Oh, get over yourself honey'. Is what I was told as part of our conversation.

This is when you lost control of the situation, Michael Hart.

Okay, sure we offered lower than expected. A simple call, or email of thank you but no thank you would have sufficed.

This is good customer service and decency. This is where the conversation could have ended days earlier or on Saturday when I verbally provided an offer, followed in writing.

This would have saved time for all parties involved.

However, when I had not received a response or acknowledgement 5 days following an offer in writing. As, requested from the managing realtor I rang to enquire.

At first.

I was impressed at the level of service receiving a call from the Owner, Michael Hart. Who was returning my call in the absence of his colleague.

I did not expect the conversation that ensued. I did not expect an insincere apology when I said, ‘do not call me honey, that’s rude and disrespectful. ’

An open dialogue, listening to all parties is appropriate adult conversation. You are in a position of knowledge; you can act differently.

I understand you have extensive knowledge in Realty. But this does not give you the right to barrage a person, be disrespectful.

And.

When I started to explain that I was disappointed this feedback was not provided to me earlier. Or, that the message you tell your staff to not consider any ‘silly offers’ was not conveyed to me earlier.

I called you out on your behaviour, lack of customer service and my disappointment.

You chose to end the call and hang up.

It is a shame my experience with you Michael Hart left me with such bitter after taste.

The rest of the staff at Century 21 were delightful, respectful, and provided excellent customer service. I enjoyed every interaction with them.

What can I say? I have nothing but praise for Michael and his dedicated team with the recent sale of my property. They were absolutely wonderful and so helpful which saved me a lot of stress. My property sold very quickly at the price I wanted and without any problems. I would highly recommend Century21 Rathmines.so a big thank you to Michael, Pam, Ken and Jane.
