CENTURY 21 Davelis & Co - Best Real estate Agents in Blacktown

Very bad experience with them as landlords - they don’t know how to manage tenancy. If there was an option to give 0 stars, I’d have given to these guys. They have 0% knowledge about tenancy rules & regulations. We trusted both Stavros & Evgenia and gave our property in their hands to manage but both of them kept lying to us constantly about the cleanliness of our property. 3 consecutive inspections they lied to us saying tenants are keeping our property clean, when it was all dirty, greasy & basic areas were not clean at all. No follow up inspections. No communication. On top, these guys kept legal things & documents hidden from us. Because of their close relations with tenants they supported them all the time. We trusted these guys, but they are a big rip off, took our hard earned money, but on the other hand supported the messiest tenants ever. Forced us to pay for stuff that tenants had damaged in the house. Unprofessional, I’ll-mannered people with no sense of running a business. Worst experience ever.

The most unreliable, unprofessional, unethical, aggressive & arrogant real estate agents I've ever come across. They don't deserve even 1 STAR. Unbelievably appalling property management! These people are completely INCOMPETENT & have ZERO knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act. IF YOU'RE A LANDLORD OF A PROPERTY AND LOOKING FOR A MANAGING AGENT - DON'T GO TO THESE GUYS! Both Stavros & Evgenia know how to trick & rip you and turn the whole experience into a nightmare.

In the beginning, they promised us 'this & that' just to get business in, whilst showing their fake smiles. We trusted them innocently and appointed them to manage our property. A couple of months later they showed their actual faces. No knowledge of how an inspection must be conducted. No ethicality. Tenants continuously kept our property unclean upon inspections- still no action, no follow-up inspection. Over 2 continuous inspections we noticed Rangehood was left greasy & oily, yellow/black stains around gas burners, lawn unmowed, heavy marks on walls, kitchen cupboards badly chipped, dirty air con, mouldy bathroom. When I discussed about this bad condition, Evgenia replied "No, your property looks clean enough. You can't expect tenants to wash their dishes". SUCH A DUMB ANSWER! We never expected tenants to keep dishes/clothes washed, infact we don't care about that.

After each inspection Evgenia would argue with us & threaten us as to why we're arguing over the bad condition of our property.

In just a few months of tenancy, due to negligence & irresponsibility of the tenants, they broke the whole Window Shutter, a fan with light, Glass door handle - caused damage to the house. Every time they caused any damage, Evgenia told us to fix. We fixed each of the damage at our cost, however when we argued about the broken door handle as we had evidences, Evgenia became aggressive and threatened us to cover the cost.

On top of all this, the rent was due for an increase, Evgenia literally kept arguing with us for A WHOLE WEEK just because of their good relations with tenants. Upon sending her similar properties comparison report, she became intensively angry and GAVE MY PERSONAL MOBILE NUMBER TO TENANTS WITHOUT MY CONSENT. Called me later saying "I've given ur Mobile No.to tenants so u both can discuss about rent increase". I should be dragging this real estate agency to Court for DISCLOSING MY PERSONAL DETAILS WITHOUT MY CONSENT, COMPROMISING MY PRIVACY & showing ACT OF MISCONDUCT!

After a lot of arguments, the reasonably increased rent was agreed. Right after this, they started becoming UNCOMMUNICATIVE, UNETHICAL, RUDE & NEGLECTED OUR PROPERTY as they wanted to JUST support tenants & act in their favour only. We then decided to change our Agency. We paid the whole Termination cost & ended agreement. In anger, Evgenia called me, started abusing & saying horribly bad about the new agency (who are actually No. 1 around the area) we appointed and hung up the call. She refused to send our files to the new agency, deliberately kept documents hidden, told us to pay if we want all documents to be sent over. MEANWHILE ALL THIS WAS HAPPENING, WE FOUND THAT IN PSYCHOSIS SHE WAS ACTUALLY SHARING SCREENSHOTS OF OUR OFFICIAL EMAIL CONVERSATIONS & LEGAL DOCS WITH A FRIEND OF MY HUSBAND SHE KNEW (WHO IS NOT AUTHORISED TO RECEIVE ANY COMMUNICATION)

SHOCKING TO SAY & ADD, THEY'VE ALSO SHARED IMPORTANT & OFFICIAL CONVERSATIONS, PHOTOS ABOUT OUR PROPERTY WITH TENANTS ON SOCIAL MEDIA.

AGENCIES LIKE THESE MUST BE SHUT & AGENTS LIKE THEM MUST BE THROWN OUT!

Genuinely speaking, if you're a Landlord - avoid this agency at all costs! If you're a Tenant - be careful!
BE EXTRA CAREFUL of the communication u have with them cause they'll compromise ur privacy & share ur Mobile No.without ur consent.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation about the help and support received from Century 21 Blacktown re renting out our property in Blacktown. The last tenants have moved out and the house was vacant.
The whole process and steps for renting out, and later managing the property was very smooth from the start to the end. Stavros, the Manager arranged the initial meeting with me in his office.
He explained the whole procedure and terms and conditions of the contract and answered all my questions very patiently. He assigned Ms Sai, Property Manager to find a suitable tenant with a good rental amount. Sai was very professional in her job and continued updating me in detail about potential tenants and eventually found a suitable tenant. Since then she is managing the property very well and communicates with me with every arisen issue. We are very happy with her.
