Went on a tour of the school and I really loved what we saw.

Their mindset and attitude about what's important for the kids in terms of education, health and well-being is definitely aligned with my values and beliefs.

My little girl is very excited at the thought of this being her new school.

We have applied so fingers crossed, if it's meant to be this is where she will be.

The school is a Sports school but the curriculum is miles ahead of public schools. As an Early Childhood teacher it was the reason I sent my child to the school after research their approach to learning particularly in the younger years.
My daughter was diagnosed over the school break with type 1 diabetes and the school nurse, teachers, coaches, everyone have been so amazing supporting her and caring for her which is around the clock support for a little T1D child with no insulin pump. Everyone at the school was given training and the people who care for her were given extra training. The cafe has helped my fussy eater try new food and the continuity of teaching and support staff staff (who transition to the next year with their class typically) has helped my daughters confidences grow.

A very short lived awful experience for my three children. Do NOT make the mistake of sending your children to this school. Lacking experience in every aspect especially the quality of learning & understanding that all children are not cardboard clones of each other. If your child is not A grade sports enthusiasts they will look for every excuse to push your child out of the school! They will use different tactics to in regards to this! I am glad my children have settled well in a school elsewhere with children that are accepted as being at different levels to each other. Don't make the mistake we did do your research & listen to the evidence & facts of people NOT enrolled at this school prior to making the decision to enroll your children at this school! I no longer have to worry which no parent should that they are not blending in to the school environment around them. Taking your kids to the beach & parks frequently & having kids learning mainly from devices in the classroom most of the day is not the way to teach your students!

A PARENT WHO HIGHLY RECOMMENDS THIS SPORTS COLLEGE
My Son enrolled in this School 2014 Year 3 Primary & has remained in this Sports College since. He was a student in the 2nd Year the School opened. I am very grateful he remained.
I could not thank Paul Chapman & the Team enough for their care & support of my Son.
A child who does need additional support; this School provided more than we could have ever wished for. And they truly do care.
He is now thriving in his academics due to the amazing support he is receiving from Sally & her Team & his wonderful Teacher Matt.
I have found the mix of quality Sports & Academics has helped with his learning & concentration.
When he has struggled, the School invested in helping him turn things around. They got to know my Son in a way no other School would have & he responded. I truly believe that & if you witnessed as a Parent what I have, you would feel exactly the same.
If there is ever an issue, they will listen & help rectify the issue for the best possible outcome. And keeping you well informed.
The School is very transparent in helping you understand your Childs learning & welcome you to see first hand their Classroom environment.
We were able to be apart of his End of Term presentation & assessment. Fantastic experience.
My Son has the closest group of Friends & the School does take a very strong stance against Bullying.
It is known that Students with serious bullying behaviours have been suspended or constant repeat offenders been completely removed from the School. The School does protect their Students.
My Sons group of Friends are all respectful, well mannered Teens who have been the strongest group of Friends since joining the School at a very young age. The platform of good behaviour set by the School has benefitted them all.
My Son would be shattered if he left this School.
He has experienced a Trip to NZ to play the NZ All Stars. The most amazing experience the School gave him with Cultural Learning & quality Football. Thank you to Julie & Paul.
I visit every Year for Fathers Day where the School holds a Breakfast for Dads & their Children. Within their School Dining Caffe where each Student receives a freshly Cooked Meal Daily.
I am respectful of other Parents opinions of why the pulled their Child out of this School, but I can only talk of my experience & that is only of complete gratitude.
If you are considering but not sure of the move to this Sports College; enrol your Child & You won't look back.

Thank you Paul - Sally - Matt - Julie - Scott - Ness - Laura - Richard - Jacob - Will & Tim.
And the wonderful Office Staff.

A great school that celebrates all sports, different learning styles, looking after & catering to them as individuals, helping find the best way for them to enjoy learning rather than dreading it.

My daughter goes to school here. She absolutely loves it! They have alternative methods of teaching, and a lot of time playing sport as a part of the ciriculum:)

Excellent school, wonderful environment for your children, very supportive teachers, who also know what they're doing. Thank god for no homework, if you want your child to have to do homework, just ask a teacher. How do I now these things? Because I'm student enrolled there.

I would just like to congratulate the amazing team at CCSC for another successful breakfast. This is now the 3rd time I have attended one with my grandson PJ and we both really enjoyed it. To see such large numbers of families attending must be so rewarding for you all. I appreciate all the hard work and effort that you all put into these lovely breakfasts and to thank you. PJ and I will always be thankful for the memories that the school has helped us create.
Looking forward to the next one 

We are so thankful for the Pre Kindy Club (PKC) at the Central Coast Sports College. Our son transitioned so smoothly into Kindergarten this year. He is excited to go to school. He raves about the food he is having for lunch and morning tea and absolutely adores his teachers and coaches and feels very comfortable with them. We honestly think he would not be the confident little Kinder child that we see today, if the Pre Kindy Club (PKC) program wasn't available to us last year. Thank you CCSC for all of the hard work, thought and planning that has gone in to this program. We know from our experience that it’s a game changer for families! I just wanted to say a big thank you for the PKC program at CCSC. I have been fortunate enough to have both my sons go through this transition program the year before starting school. The activities are well-thought out and plenty of notice is given, allowing schedules to be changed (for both the kids and parents). The program helped both my boys become familiar with school and when the day came to starting ‘big school’ they knew where to go, who their teacher was and most importantly (for them) where to eat lunch.
It is evident the care, love and organisation that goes into this program. We, the families, really appreciate it!

I have two children that attend this school. My son who is 10yrs old, this will be his second year at this school. I also have a daughter who started Kindy this year. Both my children absolutely love the school. They love all their teachers and coaches. They love learning just as much as they love their sports time. I have had a very positive experience with my children attending this school. If there is any issue it is dealt with straight away and parents are always well informed.

The year before Kindy my daughter attended all the Pre Kindy events run by the school. It was a perfect opportunity for her to make friends, get familiar with the school and to get to know the teachers. I also loved the pre kindy program as I meet parents and their children well before she started school. She made lots of friends and it made the transition to school such a breeze. She went off extremely confidently and happy.

I could not picture my children attending any other school.

I had the privileged experience of creating a promotional video of the school - none of the classrooms, cafe, sports facilities etc.were staged, so I got to be a 'fly on the wall' for a school day. What I saw were happy, engaged children, lots of high 5's and team work, quality teaching and learning, and some amazing skills demonstrated on the football pitch and tennis courts. The staff were all friendly, visibly dedicated, and eager to ensure their students were well looked after. As a former educator I highly recommend this school.

The best thing about the school is they take a holistic approach to nurturing kids. I love that the school understands that emotional regulation underlies academic success, resilience and well being. They really support kids to be the best they can. The connection between staff and students is also very positive, my son says it's like being 'part of a team' going to school there. The lunchtime meals are delicious and ensure that my son has all the energy he needs to work and play. It's so much more than a sports school, it's a fantastic growing experience for my son. I'm so glad we have the option on the central coast.

My son Sean attends the school.
He’s currently in year 7, and this is his 5th year attending.
Before we made our decision to send Sean to the school, I was very cynical about the idea of it, and in fact, was dead against sending him there as I was worried about putting undue pressure on a kid, but after visiting the school, meeting the CEO and other staff members, I quickly realised the school was started to stop this exact thing.
To have a child with ability is a wonderful thing, but it has its problems.
Several times a week, a child is required to attend various training clinics to after school to hone their skills, and this becomes a problem to the entire family-as well as the child-for obvious reasons.
The day at school includes a two hour training session, eliminating any further sessions each week, and allowing kids to be kids when they get home each afternoon-there is no negative at all!
Sessions are tailored around making the most out of a two hour period, without putting any physical or mental strain or pressure on the kids.
Again-no negatives.
The education curriculum is an ongoing work in progress, but at the end of the day, is based as much on teaching our kids as it is ensuring they come out of their time at the school very confident, respectful young people, and the evidence is there any time we have met the older kids verging on adulthood.
They all seemed to have a presence about them, but no arrogance at all.
More that they were very, very comfortable in their own skin and that’s what I want from a school.
Would I change my decision?
NEVER.
If I had younger kids, would I send them-ABSOLUTELY.
It isn’t perfect, but it’s a hell of a lot closer to the ideal situation than any other school around, imo.
If you are thinking of sending your child there, just remember this-the staff are united in their endeavour to give your child the very, very best opportunities so let them do their job, trust in the process and relax, and watch your hold flourish.
