Central Coast Leagues Club reviews
40When we are the only people in a bar area why are we constantly being asked to be quiet. Did not know we were having a beer at the council Library
Nothing special unless we have family with small children. You can entertain them in special children zone.
Slow food service, and average quality food in the bistro. Otherwise, your average pokie hang out
So Disappointing! The Terrace Bar sounds so cool and trendy but it was more like a caravan park teenage hang out shed. We went for a night cap after visiting trendy Bond Pavilion. It can be so much more with a bit if imagination and commitment. Time for a change. If you build it, they will come!
Changing the way we socialise. Not much dancing or entertainment now, more focus on pokies and eating it now seems. All out by 12am!
Went to see Jimeoin there last night. Worst experience ever! The sound system was terrible. We had seats in the back row and the constant noise from the bar directly behind us, which kept serving drinks all through the show, meant that I hardly heard any of his comedy show. The show started late because nobody took their seats on time. Again, this was due to the bar being open throughout the performance. The club is more interested in pouring beers than providing a good venue for performances.
Chistmas day, Terrible food. Dank smelling prawns. Lobster was also complete with "dank" smell. It would seem they store cold food "naked" in their freezers and not sealed air tight bags. Poor food. 6 hours later the toilet was my friend. I do not understand how they can sell food with such a terrible odour and stay in business. Predominantly Vietnamese staff.
Love my leagues club. Grew up coming here with family and have continued to with friends. Roast is something special
Ribs were tough and old tasting
Lamb shank was very salty and just lamb with mash potatoes not what I’d expect for $60+
The buffet is better and the food is prepared hours before you get it.
Shame they can’t get the basics right here.
Poor quality food twice here now, won’t be a third time.
Usually pretty busy, lots to do. Many places to eat, all with varying qualities. Bars aren't too expensive, membership is cheap enough with tons of benefits associated with it, worth it in my opinion. Lots of seating, live music and events. Open late too for convenience. Very close to Gosford Train Station and lots of parking too. Within walking distance to most of what Gosford has to offer.
Price for the buffet was $30 on a Sunday that includes a bottomless drink if you go during the week and are a member it is $15.8 +$3 for the bottomless drink
Worst pokie machines ever. They seem to be rigged. Every time they see me playing, they make sure I lose
Central Coast Leagues Club is a fabulous place to gather with friends and family for a bite to eat or have drinks, it's a friendly place with a great atmosphere.
Dining at Archie’s Brasserie was a terrible experience. Food was really bad. My husband and mother in law ordered pork ribs and they were pink raw.not flavour.hubby exchanged it for pie and it was a frozen pie that anyone can get from the supermarket.then we ordered dessert.apple crumble.we didnt know you can screw up something so simple.the base was raw.it seemed to be from a frozen package.
In general an awful experience.def never coming back
Way more security staff than people visiting here. It used to be great but the young have been pushed out by poker machines and way to much security, not like when you had troppo and dance floors. I would not recommend it, you would have more fun at the pub.
Totally unhappy with the service in this place. Over the age of 18, but required to wear a purple wrist band until you turn 25. No service without a wristband even if you show id to prove your age. If your wristband falls off, forget about getting a drink. I was denied service for a coke even though I showed the wristband that fell off from my pocket Totally unnecessary and ridiculous.
I have been going to this restaurant for a bit of s long time, and since I’ve been going there it’s been good. But when I went there recently there wer about three out of forty things that were good. I personally think the head chef is letting the entire business down.
I'm not a fan of those humongous, glitz & glamour clubs where U need a tour guide 2 find your way 'round!
Great atmosphere and the creche is outstanding. My son motives me to go as he can't wait to play with his new friends
Took a long time to actually go here but now regretting that. It’s a great club, lots of space and kid friendly. The Chinese restaurant was good value and the cocktail bar was fantastic! Totally exceeded all expectations.
