If I could give zero stars to Central Coast automotive used cars department I would. I purchased a Hyundai Elantra in September 2023 and was told it came with a logbook service history. When I picked the car up it didn't have said logbook but I was told by them they would get a new logbook filled in and sent to me. I have all the text messages from Jake that clearly state that is what was going to happen. Here it is January 2024 and still no logbook. Don't trust anyone from this place as all they'll do is tell you lies. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from this dealer.

I use to get my car serviced here, but not anymore. Terrible mistakes made. They overfilled the oil (not good), didn't replace the boot lining correctly after battery change meaning I couldn't access the spare tyre, told me I only had 2mm of tread remaining on my tyres when over 5mm was remaining, (independently confirmed) and to add insult to injury told me the link pins needed urgent replacement, which upon independent inspection revealed there was nothing wrong with them. Furthermore, they told me I had MORE brake pad remaining than the previous service. If they get these obviously simple things wrong, what else do they get wrong? Quite frankly, when I check the veracity of what I am being told by the service centre, I am left flummoxed. This just should not happen!

2nd attempt too have my AUTO headlights repaired in my zst, second time they've lied and deflected the issue, any new MG owners, steer clear, the thing at the desk hasn't got a clue and the technicians are just as clueless.

I popped my red swift in for a clutch replacement today and hands down, it's the best my car has ever felt. Staff were all so welcoming and helpful. Friendly and informative. I hadn't even gotten out of my car and the staff were introducing themselves, which I found, helped break my anxiety, that came with a new environment.
I have found the only place I'll go to from here on.never had a better experience. The service, the cost, the efficiency- overall such a positive experience!
Plus my car smells really nice also haha, added bonus. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH

A horrible experience dealing with Jake in used car sales. We drove 50 minutes from Newcastle with the intention of test driving an XC90 listed for around $58k. We were talking about the car & our situation & he asked us what our budget was which I explained from anything up to $80-90k. We'd never test driven a Volvo, let alone an XC90, so we really wanted to get a feel for the car. Jake explained that there was no point testing that car because it would drive, "like a completely different car" than a car more at the top of our budget, so what was the point? It took literally bugging him & haggling with him to get him to agree to give us a test drive, but not before 2 other parties came back from their drives as 'the app wouldn't allow' more than 2 tests out at once. They had us waiting 45 minutes just to get in the car. In the end we had to leave because Jake saw us speaking with the new car Volvo salesman & clearly didn't like it. OH, & we also ended up loving a 2017 XC90 from Power Ford in Castle Hill which, yes, we bought for LESS than the XC90 they had for sale at Central Coast Automotive. Assumptions can make you look pretty stupid, hey? And wow.the difference in the experience between the 2 dealerships was stark to say the least. Let that be a lesson in how to treat your customers, maybe do some mystery shopping down there. Will definitely be mentioning you guys to avoid if it ever comes up with friends or colleagues.

Booked the wife's car in for a service online for 7am. Arrived 7am to drop of the car just had sales woman be very rude and push us away saying they don't open to 7.30am. Wouldn't even check if our booking was in the system for 7am as we had the conformation email in hand.
Don't take orders for a time your not open, waste my f#$king time and be an absolute c#nt to me in the process.
Took my money elsewhere.

Today we had the pleasure of picking up a new second hand car along with our granddaughter. The service we received from our salesman Todd was impeccable. He was never pushy, he discussed the whole sale process with our granddaughter after she chose the car and was happy with her choice and taking it for a test drive. As it needed new tyres we couldn’t pick it up until late (on closing time) when our granddaughter finished work. Todd was so accommodating and patient staying past closing time then took the time to explain certain things about the car to her. We would highly recommend Todd and his team at the Gosford branch to buy a car from. Very professional service.

I bought a used car from Central Coast Holden from interstate and it arrived exactly as described and shown by the salesman Kane. He handled all of the freight and the vehicle arrived at my door a couple of weeks later - he made the whole sale process very easy and smooth.

I've just had a mechanical issue outside of the warranty period yet Kane, Chris, Kevin and the team were only too happy to work with me to get the issue resolved. Can't recommend these guys enough for their sales and service, would definitely buy from them again.

I can only say good things about CCH and my recent log book service. The staff were courteous as I would expect. Their coordination of their MG loan car was seamless. (Did I mention those zippy lil MG's are brilliant!). Greg in service was Exceptional. He explained everything in layman's terms, & didn't rush me, even though it was approaching closing time. As usual GAI was AMAZING. Her attention to detail and customer liaison skills are second to none. Keep up the good work.

Be warned you must take your business elsewhere don’t go here. A very dishonest boss.hard to get any decent service and they charge you for doing nothing.aaah. What a waste of time

Its certainly a memorable experience, for me it wasn't a good one, again.

After reading numerous reviews I see I'm not alone.

If a car dealership can't get the simple things right, it makes me wonder how well my car is being serviced.

Like the majority of people I thought having the dealership I purchased the car from would be the obvious choice for servicing, I question that decision again after todays visit.

Question: Why does a customer have to deal with the stress generated by the inefficiencies of those he is paying for service?

I'm aware things don't always go to plan however communication is a great way of reducing stress & frustration. I believe people generally deal with a problem or change of circumstances well if they are informed of a situation and not treated like a dumb fxxx who can easily be manipulated.

I thank Shawn for sorting todays dramas and sincerely hope the management and staff of CCH can lift their level of customer service to an acceptable standard.

A big Thank You to Rayce (Service Manager) and Jessi (Workshop Manager) for your efforts in getting me back on the road as soon as possible after a Turbo failure especially with the problems involved with Covid 19 restrictions with spare part availability. Also just getting into the workshop with so much work happening is greatly appreciated. Also a big thanks to Chris (Used Cars Manager) for your help as well.

Great to buy from but find someone else to do your servicing and warranty work. I only go back to have warranty work done and have reached the point where it is less stressful to pay someone else for any work that needs doing.
Favourite incident was when an oily rag was left on the vehicle's manifold.
Cannot suggest strongly enough to go elsewhere.
Pictures show how my vehicle was left for me at pick up time. Managers comment was. 'that's not too bad:

Very good service, got my car ready for me, post service, I great time. Arranged for warranty work to be completed. If I could make one suggestion, if they could wash & vacuum the car, it would make such an overall better impression. However, in saying that, I will definitely return for my future services.

Initial!
Was friendly and service experience good. Seemed that product knowledge was inconsistent, between staff members.
Did not appear to be interest in 2-3 yr old model features or configuration support.

Edit! This dealership site has to be the worst experience I have ever had. Promised loan car for recal which refused on day. Also could not find an obvious exhaust fault that was easily found by apprentice at Wyong service center. They also found 3 other warranty issues that should have been found at gosford
Avoid Gosford just go to Wyong for Holden services

I had the pleasure of dealing with CC Holden. Chris made the enquiries so easy over email and then Kane delivered the vehicle to me in a covid-safe way! The car deal was amazing and the customer service was excellent and fuss free.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever received! Lied straight to my face and tried to cover up their own mistake.

Had to take 3 trips in to get a boot button replaced. They couldn't diagnose which part, despite being extremely specific on the phone. Waited more than a week for this part to get delivered after a diagnosis. Rung up to see whether it was at the workshop and I was told that it was there. Five days later I dropped car off & was not told until I picked the car up later that day that the part was not there. (They noticed part hadn't been ordered when I rung them, lied saying part was there and tried to, but couldn't get it delivered in time). That day they ordered a part that magically turns up the next day from a distant location. Spoke to an extremely rude and disrespectful manager that banned me from the dealership for a question about whether they liked bad reviews and a comment on there customer service.

Horrific customer service. Staff were rude, dismissive and had an "I'm too good for you" attitude. Baffled to see how that is an acceptable standard in any profession.
