Came in to have a look at laminate samples. Sign on door saying brb in 5 mins. Waited 30 mins for the guy to return. Was asked to confirm which flooring panel was preferred and how much was required which we did. Was told that they would get us a price from the supplier and to wait overnight. Came in the next day to return samples, was told "i haven't got around to it yet" and to wait another 2 days as "its with the sales guys". 4 days later went into the store, was stuffed around and told that they needed to measure the house and that the price was what was advertised (despite already being told that it was supply only and the exact amount required 60sqm). If the price was what was advertised then why offer to seek a better price from the supplier? Honestly a big waste of time with terrible service and communication. I assume this business only wants to deal with you if they are installing also. More than happy to support local businesses but not if they don't care about their local customers.

Company car driving dangerously fast through Copacabana (black Nissan Pathfinder) made me slam on brakes on roundabout. Driver proceeded to act arrogantly and proceeded to drive recklessly all the way to Kincumber.

Whatever you do DO NOT USE FLOORING XTRA GOSFORD Megan and her Father do not follow Industry Best Practice nor do they follow Manufacturers Guidelines - After doing a below standard install job of Karndean Vinyl Plank flooring throughout my home I ended up taking them to NSW Civil Tribunal where they agreed to rectification works - only to then turn around and not want to do work according to Tribunal Order. In my opinion they are Serial Offenders very well versed in Dept of Fair Trading and NCAT - Buyer Beware - they are Serial Offenders In my Opinion

Fantastic service received from everyone we dealt with within the company (including the carpet layers). Great range to choose from.

Everything was fine up until installation. Extremely poor job which was obviously rushed. The install was split over 2 days when we were told it would only take 1 day. Installers had to come back 4 extra times to fix issues. Each time there was confusion as to what they needed to do and several times they didn't bring the required products or tools to get the job done. A very small discount was provided to compensate us for the poor service. We will never use Flooring Extra West Gosford again and would certainly not recommend them.

Offered an extensive range of carpet, vinyl & timber floor options.
Once the material & perfect colour was selected they were unable to provide pricing based on requirements. Failed to respond to emails & phone calls offered no help. Kudos on losing a sale and subsequent referrals & future business. I'll go to Carpet Call instead.
