58My 8 year old daughter had the best morning at the bulb vase workshop. Staff and other workshop participants were super nice. Coffee was amazing and the studio/courtyard is a really nice spot to sit and work.
It was so good to see my very active boys (8 & 10) being creative. They both loved the kids workshop. Small group, great instruction and support, and two ceramic pieces that they are both very proud of!
We had a great morning, an opportunity to share an enjoyable creative activity with my 13 year old daughter, whilst meeting some wonderful people! Loved it!
What a perfect way to spend our Saturday morning! I took my teenage daughter for the class. It was relaxed, informative and the staff there are so friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back.
Really good fun and great to make some lovely pots and cups. Guy is an excellent, patient teacher, the classes are small and it’s a great atmosphere. We’ll be back!
Awesome time with our instructor Amelia. She made you feel welcome, was patient and highly recommend:)
I recommend this to anyone who wants to clear their head after a busy week from work or to catch up with family and friends while being creative.
Guy was very entertaining and taught us a lot of tips and tricks of pottery making. My friend and I enjoyed the night and from my observation so did the rest of the group. There was a lot of laughter and banter. I would gladly do the wine and pottery again.
Thank you Guy! Julie and I absolutely enjoyed the Workshop
The beginners wheel day class (4hrs) was fantastic. I learnt so many things that will help me with my wheel at home. Guy was a wonderful instructor very easy going and insightful. He’d show us what to do and watch us try the techniques. Loved the set up great light and all our wheels were set up in one table best use of the space encouraging a social vibe
The kids enjoyed the holiday pottery workshop, however it was disappointing to hear that the teacher yelled constantly and seemed to have no patience for the kids asking questions.
I drove my daughter 1.5hrs to attend, she was very excited. However when she asked for help 3 times and had no response from the teacher (Amelia), her cousin came to help her and was yelled at for helping. They said many kids were yelled at during the 3-hour class. Nevertheless, they enjoyed creating something out of the clay, but I will look at a different place for them to do their next class if Amelia is still teaching. She may be better suited to adult classes.
Lovely, relaxing way to spend the morning with my 10 year old. Lots of fun to try something new.
We all really enjoyed our experience today. Such fun! A perfect activity for any age or ability.
Fantastic experience.
Great teacher.
I actually left with some nice pieces.
Very happy
Had a great morning workshop with Guy for the beginner wheel course. A very patient, helpful teacher and a very relaxed environment to learn. A lovely sunny spot for morning tea really topped things off well. A great experience and I would highly recommend. I will be back!
What an excellent day! I loved everything about the class, and even better, I did it with my mum. I highly recommend it!
Beautiful coffee. Went in for a coffee and the staff were so friendly I decided to book a ceramic class:)
This was a fantastic gift for me from my three daughters and we all did a throwing session together. It was the first time I had been on the wheel since 1975. Amelia our teacher was so encouraging and patient and her expertise was really appreciated. I look forward to enrolling a more lengthier course soon. Thank you once again Amelia and Guy.
A really lovely space to get creative. Guy, who instructed the Wine and Clay night was super helpful and personable. Would definitely go again. I can’t wait to pick up my pieces.
Jen was an amazing host and teacher for our bud vase workshop. Such a great experience, appreciating the mindfulness of working with the clay (clay covered hands meant we couldn't touch our phones to check emails!) but also her good humour, encouragement, patience and passion for the creativity working with clay brings, made for a sensational afternoon team building. The whole environment of the shop/studio/gallery was relaxing and inspiring - a little piece of heaven. Guy's coffee was on point too! Cannot recommend highly enough.
The beginners course was amazing. I looked forward to every Wednesday! Kelly is a wonderful instructor and the owners are lovely people. I'd highly recommend it.
