Centennial Vineyards

The food has notably improved since last winter (2023), thanks to the addition of a new head chef. While there is still room for improvement regarding food, the outdoor eating area near the big fireplace and water fountain is undeniably picturesque, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Thank you Centennial Vineyards and staff team for being such amazing host for our special day! We absolutely love your venue! Everything was perfect from the planning stage, ceremony and reception. A special thanks to Rebecca, Cathy and the team for organising everything for us. We appreciate all the hard work and efforts in making our day more special!

The wine wasn't as good as I thought it would be and having ONE person doing tastings for about 6 different groups is ridiculous. The sign said the tasting would take 45 mins but ours took almost 2 hours to taste 8 wines. We were sitting on uncomfortable bar stools for 15-20 mins between wines and walked away with sore backs and no purchased wines. Lower your expectations and maybe you'll enjoy it more

We attended the wine tasting here during our visit to Bowral and had an amazing time. Special mention to Rachel who demonstrated her vast knowledge of all the wine offerings and provided exceptional service throughout the tasting.

Incredible atmosphere, from the wood finished cellar, to the sandstone exteriors and the peaceful gardens and birches surrounding the property. Very hospitable and serene environment, would say it's a must see if you're in the Bowral area. Appreciate the warm welcome from Jason and Charlie, thank you both!

Our host, Kate, was really knowledgeable in introducing us to the wines and even gave us 3 extra wines (on top of the standard 8 ones we paid for) that she thought we would like! Loved the moscato and raspberry nectar - and fellow dessert wine lovers would too. Highly recommend!

The Bowral Light show had potential but fell short of expectations, not justifying the price. More captivating displays and enhanced experiences could make it worth the cost

A huge thank you to Rebecca, Melissa, Cathy and all of the wonderful staff at Centennial Vineyards for all of their help through the planning of our wedding and on our wedding day. We had the absolute best day of our lives, it went exactly to plan and schedule and we’re just so grateful for the beautiful attention and service that we got from everyone at CV. Our wedding was in Autumn and the vineyards were a beautiful yellow and red colour and all of the trees were exquisite, a stunning backdrop to a day to celebrate love. The venue sparkled with all of the beautiful fairy lights and kept us toasty warm with the divine fireplaces. Food was incredible and the service was flawless. Thank you all so much, again! We can’t wait to come back every year for an anniversary lunch.

Lovely location and lovely high tea. Savoury plate comes with a little glass of delicious soup. Scones were spot on!

It was a bit chilly on the day we visited, but the staff thoughtfully sat us around the fire place.

Probably the the best looking winery in the Southern Highlands. Also the most well known and commercial. Staff are all great, they run a pretty efficient operation.

Dropped by for the wine tasting. There's a great selection of wines! Something for everyone, and reasonably priced.

Didn't get a chance to dine at the restaurant, would've liked to try their scones! Maybe next time.

Friendly staff and beautiful vineyard. We really enjoyed our time here.

Came here for mum’s 80th so this week we came back for her 91st. You don’t mind paying a price for good food, but when mum ordered the medallions of beef (we didn’t know which cut) they were quite large pieces and they were tough and inedible. The coffee was $7 and was weak. My cousin was not impressed with the cheesecake and we did let them know all of this (politely) Overall very disappointing food and expensive. Sorry but will not be returning.

Ate at the restaurant food was nice. Pavlova was great. Service was very good. Nice outlook over the grounds and Vineyard with some good places to enjoy the grounds with a glass of wine.

Very romantic spot for a wedding (purpose of my visit). The hall is very elegant and the chef on site is internationally trained. Outdoor and indoor seated options. It is about 1hr away from Sydney. No accommodation on site but there are places nearby. Option to do wedding ceremony outdoors too.

Went here for some wine tasting and the vibe was welcoming, lovely and non-pretentious. We enjoyed some great wine and a delicious pie. Highly recommend!

Great vineyard with a fantastic view and great customer service. Not much sweet wine though but plenty wonderful white and reds to enjoy.
It's $10 the testing at the time of this review.

Stopped by here on our way to Sydney and we ended up staying for two hours. While the kids were playing on the grass, the adults had wine and grazing platters and enjoyed the views of the vineyard. Great place to just kick back and relax. Highly recommended!

Well I’ve tried to book a table for 15 of us for lunch for 2 weeks now and still haven’t heard back from anyone in the restaurant. I’ve emailed, called twice and tried booking online (unsuccessful as it won’t take bookings of 15) and not received any response. Obviously they don’t need the business. Going to another venue that does. Very disappointing
