Centennial Park reviews
59It’s a really huge park that needs you to either cycle or move with your car in between. I loved it because my kids enjoyed seeing the ducks and huge fish in the lakes.
Expansive park lands, great walking running cycling tracks. Cafes. Ponds lots to see and do outdoors
Centennial Park is very dark at night, there are no street lights
Cars are not allowed to enter after sunset, there are very few pedestrians, and occasionally a few cyclists pass by.
Beautiful place,
You can spend a whole day here.
You can also witness many birds and various native plants of Australia.
Weekdays at Centennial Park are great. Parking no problem. Plenty of open air space to exercise safely. And after a great 2 hours of walking the perimeter we dropped in to the Homestead for a perfect lunch.
A huge public park. Free access for all. Plenty of lawns, ponds, playgrounds, soccer and football fields. A great place to spend a casual afternoon. There are a large number of wetland birds too.

Plenty of parking all around. Worth booking cafes. Gets busy on the weekend!
A wonderful oasis of parklands and wildlife (mainly water birds), but limited by the hours the gates are open.
Lovely place, but if this is noticed by anyone involved in its management, GET RID OF THE ENTITLED, VIOLENT, EASTERN-SUBURBAN CYCLISTS!
Centennial Park does not need to be reviewed.
It's known as being one of the best parklands in Australia!
Absolutely massive and incredibly well kept. Some beautiful scenery with thriving wildlife. There's massive ponds with plenty of birdlife, fish and turtles.
If you haven't been here you need to try it out.
If you want peace (or as much as it can be, think 'Hyde Park' or 'Central Park') and quiet (running trails, riding trails, places to rest or relax, etc), this place is a haven (it's huge), with good parking (a must for Aussies).
On Boxing Day, I really appreciated the rose gardens, reminded me of home.
Highly recommend. Hardly ever make the time to go there BUT always humbled when I do.
Lovely spot for Picnics. We booked @luxury.picnic.events for our Christmas party and it was fabulous.
They are on Instagram and Facebook.
Such an amazing place to run, walk dachshunds, see eels and take people to have wedding photos 5*
Beautiful park.
Very sad but beautiful memorial to a wonderful person.
This park helps in being able to say goodbye in a spiritual way.
Nice park for rollerblading. One stretch of road is really bumpy however and I have fallen there a few times.
This place is my oasis of calm, peace and connection with nature. I love getting off the walking track and finding the off the beaten paths. This park has something for everyone. It's a real crown jewel in the heart of Sydney's eastern suburbs.
Greenhouses makes the best coffee. One reason to go to this park.
The other is to feed the overweight fish some white bread (which is probably why they are so fat)
One of my favourite places on earth. A national treasure. We are lucky to have such a beautiful park to enjoy, and it is maintained exquisitely. Love this place so much!
Great green space, one if not the best in Sydney, hands down. Something for everyone, such nostalgia from my childhood as well.
Beautiful park!
In the part of the park where we were there weren't any bins for recyclables and all the glass bottles and reusable plastic ended in the red bins. We took our garbage home but there were so many bins full with tons and tons of plastic and bottles. People should be more mindful of this every time they visit.
