Fascinating collection of memorabilia from days gone beautifully preserved. I was one of 26 people on a Simes bus tour of the Oracles of the Bush weekend. We all enjoyed the museum in a beautiful house built in 1871. Most interesting to read about the previous occupants over the years. A side room contained miltary history including the story of General Chauvel of the light horse. A special entertainment was provided of bush poetry and songs. Also tea and delicious home made cakes by the members of the Tenterfield Historical Society. Definitely five star.

A great collection of olden days every day life. I recognised too many things. Awesome spot. You need at least one hour.

What an experience. Daphne was our host and she never left anything out. We found the home full of old time memorabilia. Well worth the $5 admission to come away with some much information
