Whew! Always get a second opinion. A friend took her laptop to this place as the laptop wouldn't turn on. She was told a fee of $65.00 to quote a repair would apply. Then later told her 3 yr old laptop was too old, and the repair would be $300.00, they advised her to buy another laptop. This didn't seem right to me so we sought a second opinion. The second opinion paid off, my friend was told the age of her laptop was OK and it was worth repairing. The cost of the repair? Half of what she was quoted by CB Computers. Unfortunately CB's quote fee of $65.00 was wasted. I also thought it poor business practice to not offer to take the quote fee off the cost of any repairs. And the bad advise? A reminder to always get a second opinion.

I took my laptop to this company to have a look at the screen as it was flashing. They've charged me $35 without even inspecting it! I formally complained when I collected the laptop, and I was expecting that someone would contact me to discuss. However, I haven't heard anything from them since. Really disappointed with the service provided. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
