Catalina Restaurant

It took 25 minutes to get the wine after we ordered it and we had to get it from the ice bucket which was not near the table and pour it ourselves throughout the meal as the waiter was nowhere to be seen. The sides came after we had finished the mains. Just not good enough given the prices.

We had a lovely couples lunch for my wifes birthday, excellent food and great atmosphere on the balcony

Always an amazing experience here, the service never misses a beat and the food is fine dining with good portion sizes. The tuna tartare has me dreaming for a return visit soon. It's the kind of place you feel like staying for hours and just letting the world go by.

This was our second visit to Catalina & it was just as good the second time. Great food, Good Service & 0nr of the best views in Sydney. Great way to celebrate a special occasion.

Delicious food, relaxed atmosphere, beautifully helpful staff. I have dined at Catalina Restaurant numerous times, and I have always found the cuisine, staff, and atmosphere of a very high standard. 5 Stars, for all three. And I will keep coming back.

We shared a great lunch to celebrate some work changes. Everything was fantastic and the scallop entre was simply devine!

Expensive.yes. Worth it. ABSOLUTELY! My wife deserved to be spoilt after dealing with the pressures that come with lockdown, schooling young children and a husband working from home. Catalina's home delivery was everything you'd expect from such a wonderful fine dining restaurant. Thank you Judy, James and Kate for bringing your incredible cuisine into our home for a truely memorable experience.

Service was great! I just wana say to the team of Catalina, keep up the good fight guys, once restrictions have eased you guys can once again start delivering 5 star dining experiences! My Mrs was raving about your prawn pasta!

My family's amazing lunch started with exceptional drink overlooking the beautiful waterfront views of Rose Bay overlooking the harbour before we enjoyed our beautiful lunch. The bouillabaisse was exceptional with a perfectly cooked piece of marron well balanced with saffron & indulgent caviar. I had the snapper for main which was also perfectly cooked however I was given a smaller portion that some of my family members who ordered the same dish but that wasn't a big deal. Lots of people told me the duck was the most tender and delicious duck dish they've had in a long time so I would recommend ordering that for main, (unfortunately I didn't take a photo). Dessert & petit fours were also really nice and service was exceptional.

Birthday celebrations with good interstate friends. Always an absolute delight. Great scrumptious delectable food.unusual for me to be there at night but found it romantically cosy The service exceptional as always. Thank you, looking forward to our next visit. I love being there always, feels like home.

Location is amazing with an outstanding view of the bay and sea planes.

We only had drinks but the head staff were very friendly and helpful. The waiters were slow and kept trying to clear the menu from the table which was annoying. It sounds like from other reviews the wait staff could use some additional training to refine the overall experience.

We will book in for lunch or dinner next time.

Amazing service, atmosphere and a stunning view! However, the food was little underwhelming - especially the wagyu main.

My husband and I dined at Catalina on Wednesday, 16th June 2021 to celebrate my birthday. We love Catalina - the service is impeccable, the food delicious and outstanding, and the little touches, ensure diners return time-after-time. We certainly do!

Everything about Catalina was exceptional. We dined there lunch and had a great table on the balcony. The food was 5 star.all tasted great and were presented exceptionally. Couldn't fault any of the dishes.
Service was on point. Cocktail menu was good and loved they had some good variety of half bottle wines. Thanks to the team

Four of us had lunch at Catalina on 14/6. Service was excellent, as was the food. The restaurant was warm, and although crowded, it was not over noisy.
