Cash Converters reviews
37 Fast, patient and very helpful staff
Thank you for helping me TINA and SARA you guys are the best
Lack of customer service and unnecessary rude face from old tall staff who's wearing silver watch, so we decided to contact another staff, her name is koralee, she's very nice, we bought a ring 18k.
I have a good experience from Cash converters Liverpool, Reece is very polite and helpful. I just love to come at Cash converters Liverpool whenever I need financial help.
Great atmosphere and impeccable service even from their new hires can't recommend it anymore
Went into Cash Converters Warwick Farm. I wanted a new ring and I was not disappointed. Great service as always. Because of both the quality and service I will continue to shop with them.
Marlin staff is very rude and talks back to you. I have been in many times for loans. She offers like 10 percent of retail price and can’t go up another dollar. At one occasion she said do you want it or not I’ll walk away and give I time to think about it. They give you peanuts and next time you see it on the floor going for retail price sometime soon even higher. If you bring in Ann iPhones 14 they will prob give you $300 and you will see it on the floor for $1600. They are loan sharks stay away.
The staff are all so helpful. So many items are like new. Needed a new laptop for a school byod… and couldn’t bring myself to pay retail. So glad I found this place!
Don’t ever come to places like these 35 percent interest a month and whatever the cheapest identical items that are sold for on eBay they will divide it by 4 n that’s what you get on loan or if your selling. Then next time you go you will see your item selling for near retail price. They give you peanuts and flip it for retail price. Daylight robbery.
Today I called into Cash Converters at Warwick Farm. I noticed an 60 litre Engel fridge sitting on a shelf in its box sealed and it seemed new. It had a price of $1350 on it so I assumed it was. I asked a staff member about it and he confirmed that it was and it even came with a new cover. I asked him if he would take a lower amount and he asked me to wait. He came back with a price of $1100. I secretly knew what the price for a new fridge was and I agreed on the $1100. The new price is $1900 for the fridge and $250 for the cover. I quickly paid the money and scurried out of the shop. The point of this review is to advise that one can barter with Cash Converters. I was very impressed I must say. Thanks for a bargain Cash Converters Warwick Farm:).
Unfortunately all these people care about is making a quick dollar!
I have had so many items in and out of here on loan and I was 4 days late to pick item up amd get charged a full 1month interest, a few months ago same thing happen and was charged 1week only,
Will NEVER go back there again very disappointing considering how good a customer was, means nothing when you try squee, e every dollar out of people,
Please
DO NOT GO HERE
Money money money they care about screwing the customer
I was a frequent customer to this shop but no longer, i was looking at a pressure washer and decided to buy it I then picked it up and was about to make my way to buy it when a worker comes upto me and takes it out of my hands and sells it to someone else.
Won't be shopping here again.
Ryan has great service went above and beyod to help and serve pricing etc There general pricing does need to come down as old used items but ok otherwise
Poor customer service especially from the manager. Rude and ignorant gave bad attitude to customers. We are about to buy the item, we ask for the best price he can do, he gave a short response and doesn't seems to be interested in the sale and walked away. Lack of management knowledges. Just abit of advice, Sometimes you gotta let your customers win, dropping a small amount of dollars off (second hand items) could be a big help for your business.
Put stuff in for a loan rang up as I’m working and can’t make it in there till the weekend they can’t even give me till then will never put stuff in at cash converters Liverpool again and I’ll be telling everyone I know not to deal with them
I don't understand how their pricing of items work. I don't frequent cash converters that often, but I do recall it had always been reasonably priced. This is the only place that you can find PS2 games to buy. I also see this store as a type of museum, some items can be random.
During my in-store experience, I found most items were overly priced. Which is concerning, considering the fact that they are mostly used goods.
IPad was priced in the 400s. I bought mine brand new at 450. They had smart watches that cost more than retail. I just hope this review helps those that are financially vulnerable to be sure to shop around.
Outstanding customer service! I purchased an Xbox online via the Liverpool store and 2 days later it was delivered in QLD. The console was well packaged and carefully protected with bubble wrap. The console was also accurately described and just as depicted on the website. Unfortunately there was a fault with the item, however, when I contacted the store, the manager honoured the 90 day warranty without making the process arduous. I highly recommend buying online with peace of mind from this store, they are a very honest and friendly team to deal with. Thanks again:)
The jewellery section has more variety and better quality than any other store I have been in. AMAZING!
Large selection of goods but the prices they want for some of the items are unrealistic. Not sure how they think they can sell a used item for $10 less than the new one.
I've been here a few times and while I've bought a few things, I feel that most items are way overpriced. The idea that Cash Converters will price something high or near to retail price due to the alleged amount they had to pay for any given item is duplicitous as they'll never pay anywhere near what your asking price is. I've sold collectibles before and they've always knocked back any amount that even comes close to what it's worth.
I can overlook all that however as I understand profit margins, but what I really hate is the subtle way counter staff love making customers feel inferior and undervalued when it comes to monetary transactions. I always hand over cash in a respectful way, so I'm getting real tired at having any balance and or receipt plonked on the counter in front of me by some half-shaved female man-thing requiring the need to scrape up change like I'm a village peasant. If you don't want the patronage then close your doors, put everybody out of work and go solely online.
This store sells some amazing and cool items, and some are at a really fair price. However, the music they play at the store can ruin the shopping experience, as the music is mostly the sounds of Clubbing Mixes, which isn't something to be played at a store that is visited by all people, and the staff are mostly friendly - with a few having to show some attitude, while at the same time - being chatterboxes while "serving" other selective customers.
