We installed a very expensive Corian bench top in 2019 during our kitchen renovation. We used a Corian approved, licensed fabricator. In 2020, holes began to appear in part of the bench top between the tile coving and bench top. We had these repaired but the holes reappeared in the same place. We contacted Corian and they sent representatives to inspect the bench top (after more than 6 months of requests). The representatives discovered that this section of bench top is completely unsupported, with no substrate at all. This is the reason the holes are forming, because the bench top is literally sinking away. The section also includes the sink, so it is under constant pressure from the weight of water in the sink.
Corian have accepted that this is completely inappropriate installation and have agreed to provide materials to replace the bench top. However, the original fabricator won't install the new bench top and Corian say there are no other installers available to install the bench top. After 10 months of conversations, and accepting that the bench top was inappropriately installed, Corian and the fabricator have now said the only recourse is to go through the department of fair trading.
I am so disappointed in what I thought was the top of line bench top which came with a warranty - to cover exactly this sort of thing. But here we are only three years later contemplating having to replace our kitchen bench ourselves in order to have a functional kitchen. I will never install a Corian bench top again.

I didn't have a great experience with this company. Two stars because the final product looks nice, however the actual installation process and communication with their staff wasn't particularly nice. After months of communication and scheduling times to have tradesmen come to my house to fix problems created by previous tradesmen we finally got there. They gave me a $300 voucher to compensate. Note CASF are the timber supplier to Wallspan, so if you get a kitchen through Wallspan just be aware that if you run into problems the whole thing becomes slightly convoluted as you await feedback on CASF and Wallspan's communications with one another. The experience made me wish i'd just picked a small, family run company to install my kitchen.

Cracked Corian benchtop. Contacted CASF in March. Still not fixed under warranty conditions. Two bench tops. Three cracks.
