Shop had runners for the Hall way. You just can't get good quality one's anywhere anymore. Great guy, very freindly and informative.

No frills store. Different sales approach, but highly knowledgeable and won’t try to sell you stuff that’s not right for you.

I am extremely sadden that I arrived in store today at 12.30 to view some carpet colours that my husband had ask I look at in order to start the procedure of getting ready to obtain quotes for our new home.

The initial greeting to store was good, however when I started to quote the colours and brand of carpet I would like to look at, he ask me several times which property this was concerning and keep mentioning quotes.

I tried to explain at this stage, he had not quoted and I just wanted to look at brands and colours, he then in turn waved his hand to the left side of the store and said "you will find it over there".

I ask if he was going to assist me and with that he started to become irate and told me he did not have time to assist me as he was sick of people coming into store looking at brands and colours and then not purchasing through him.

At this time I was so taken back, I replied you have no idea what you are talking about, how do you know if I am not about to ask you for a quote once I have viewed the suggested product and colour from my husband.

With this he exited towards the back of the store commenting he was sick of people been sent in, and I quote from "McDonald Jones".

Number ONE, I have nothing to do with McDonald Jones, and it is obvious that the staff member is a very sadden little man with many issues.

Number TWO, I am sorry if McDonald Jones is using your show room for their benefit, but this is no way to treat your potential customers.

Number THREE I am building with Masterton Homes and carpet is not part of my package, but I was never giving the opportunity to even bring this up.

Further more if this is how all your customers are treated I feel very sorry for your business.

Regardless if the person is purchasing or not, isn't it all about CUSTOMER SERVICE.

The way I see it you bend over backwards regardless, because that person might not purchase, but word of mouth is so vital.
