Very Disappointed with customer service at Tuggerah store I advised them of a problem with the flooring and the carpet over 7 days ago and I have not received a call back. Still waiting. Could not fault the contractors though nothing was a problem for them. Customer service needs to do better

Gave me damaged floorboards and blamed me saying I left it in the rain. The installer left it in plastic in my living room so he could come and install the next day. They made me pay for extra boxes. Installation is shocking, the edges and corners are damaged. The management act like gangsters when you call them to try and sort out the dispute. Please stay away from this shocking company. Idk how they got this big with there shocking service. Oh and btw all the workers I spoke to who aren’t in management kept saying how dodgy the management is and to not bother.

Wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. After they caused over $6,000 worth of damage to my property (VERY poor installation causing damage to my stacker doors) and the refusal to fix the damage, I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. Avoid at all costs!

Do yourself a favour and steer clear of this store.
I took a day off work for installation and the store “forgot” to tell me the carpets were delayed (even though they knew days prior).
I even messaged the sales consultant the morning of who failed to tell me the installation was delayed - instead told me the installers should arrive by 9am or to call the store.
To make matters worse after trying to escalate the matter (after 41 days of chasing the store manager John who was amazing during the sale then non-contactable afterwards, and the area manager who made promises the company haven’t kept) the state manager Daniel Upton simply told me the matter was closed.
They’re wonderful during the sale but obviously couldn’t care less about their customers.

Disgusted with these so called professionals. I work in the disabled industry and they have kept putting my client out{who is wheelchair bound and needs extra help for floors to be cleared} for weeks to the point that she has now cancelled the job!

Absolutely atrocious service. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
I run a office & went ahead to get blinds installed. I was told 3 times somebody would be coming out on a date to replace my blinds and nobody showed up or rang me after paying a deposit. When I was instructed to ring the account manager I explained my frustration, and he abused me swearing and yelling that loud it was barely audible, then actually called my phone back to try and abuse me more. Stay away from this place at all costs, they are disgustingly unprofessional. The old manager Manni left which was disappointing as he was the only nice and helpful person I dealt with during my transaction. We are now getting our carpets done by somebody else as a result of this.

I love my floor. Daniel came to measure and gave me informed advice on the different timbers - a great help to me in picking out which timber I would like to use. We installed ourselves, the timber was of top notch quality and easy to install. Service at Seven Hills could be better, they are busy.had to wait 30 minutes.maybe need more staff? Really happy with my floor! Thank you Daniel!

We have had Parador flooring installed in our place, to replace the existing carpet. Had a seamless experience from the initial measurement and quote, through to the installation. We are really happy with the final product and would recommend it to anyone thinking of doing the same.

We are in the process of building a new house and we’re sent by our builder to carpet call to select a carpet. Our initial customer service experience was disgusting as our sales rep showed us what we could select from and left the room.
He arrived back in less then half an hour and asked if we had made a selection and printed out a piece of paper got my wife and I to sign and said see you later and acted like we were such a hassale even though we chose a carpet for our first home without any assistance in less then 30 mins. (Good on Carpet Call parting ways with him)
Surprise surprise on inspection of our house we had chosen a beige carpet only to find a dark brown carpet already installed around the house
To the disbelief of my wife and I.
After contacting a couple of employees at carpet call to express our grievance we had the pleasure of dealing with Umut Penpecioglu.
There was no beating around the bush ownership of the mistake and apologies were made straight away. This Gentleman actually made us feel like a valued customer was energetic and very knowledgeable and his customer service was impeccable. He has offered us a free upgrade and will have our new carpet installed within two days.
I have three other properties that I am building on very soon and no matter who I build with I guarantee I will do my carpeting with carpet call again providing I am able to have Umut look after me. He Changed my opinion from some one never wanting to to business with carpet call to a returning customer.
Thanks again Umut you are champion.

Ummmm I can see why they have low ratings.
Its the weirdest set up. U have to walk through their offices to get to the showroom and then no one was there, then when someone did come in he said i had to sign in back downstairs. I just walked out. If it takes that long to get to the showroom and helped I cant imagine about how long the installation would take.

Don’t buy at half the price! There’s NO after sales service. The sales team do their job, it’s the ones that call themselves managers that fail them. Shame on you Daniel. You’ve intentionally disregarded me for 11 weeks! I finally get in contact with you and you call me irrate. That’s laughable. ‘The experts in the trade’ gave me a hideous join in the carpet and it comes apart but it’s not an issue according to Daniel. See you at the Tribunal.

Unfortunately the store at Castle Hill has tarnished the Carpet Call brand. The Manager still has not collected our 'old' carpet per his undertaking (on two separate occasions). I strongly suggest anyone shopping for carpet give Carpet Call a miss.

What sort of company takes almost $30,000 off of you up front, does half a job, leaves gaps in flooring, leaves the job half done months ago, then when you call head office to ask for the job to be finished they literally laugh at you, call you pathetic, tell you to take them to Fair Trading and then hang up on you? Order was placed and deposit paid in MAY 2017

Hopeless, never in my life will
I be dealing with Carpet Call again. They didn’t even bother to check their work at the job and plastic was coming up from the edging of my flooring. They also didn’t bother to stick down the edge of the floor in parts. Never again.

Totally ordinary experience
All they had to do was inform us of possible issue but went ahead with installation anyway
Will fix up myself as do not ever want to talk to them again
Issue with installer and head office, not Seven Hills

A warning to anybody wishing to do business with carpetcall.

Not only are we disappointed and dissatisfied with the inferior product that we had installed by CarpetCall, we are completely disgusted with the customer service we have received when attempting to seek a resolution to this problem.
We are at a loss to comprehended how a company can be content with leaving customer's with an inferior and confirmed by two high ranking member's of management, faulty product which was not up to carpet call standard.

So.

We had a defective product installed, carpetcall tried to pass the buck by saying that it was not their product. Evidence was provided and miraculously they agreed to do something about it. Just to be sure though they sent
Gary McDonald who was the regional manager and a "flooring specialist" called Daniel Upton (who is now currently running the place in Glen Boland's absence)
This was in December 2016, a full year after the issue had been raised.
Both Gary and Daniel agreed it was not how it should be and something would be done to rectify the issue. As it was December Gary asked if we could wait until January and then they would organise "something". We agreed.
January came and went, I tried numerous times to get in touch with Gary McDonald but to no avail, I then received the news that he was no longer with the company. The lady put me in touch with Grant Miles who was by all accounts in Gary McDonald's role. He then fobbed me off to the NSW operations manager - Glen Boland who would not return any messages left and was always out of the office. I was then put back in touch with Daniel Upton who was apparently covering for the NSW operations manager while he was away. I spoke to Daniel on the phone and as I started to relay my issues he told me that it was infact him that came to my house with Gary McDonald and remembers the issue, he then said he would speak to his manager to get it sorted, Finally! I thought, we are going to get this sorted. But no.
Daniel called me back and advised me that they would no longer be assisting in this matter and we should take it to NCAT.
Disgusting.

I would give 0 star if it was an option,

Worst costumer service ever seen in Australia, never ever trust them,
Went to Artarmon store on 20/6/2017 and ordered a laminate flooring, the store/sale manager was Gellen, and he confirmed they have this item in stock and organised to check measure and installation in two weeks,

I received a text message confirming the installation will be on 28/6/2017, so I paid someone ($300) to come over to move the furniture form living/lounge area (my wife is pregnant and cannot help), and removed parts of existing carpet, also took that day off from my office and stayed at home for the installers.

No one turned up until 2pm, I called the store several times but couldn't get hold of Gellen, talked to another person in the store (Sam) he said sorry the items in the stock are damaged, but will organise from other stores (it was 2pm!).

Nothing happened, so tried to contact head office and talked to Justin Marchbank (Timber manager) he said sorry we don't have this item in stock and takes one month to order from Germany! And we will come and install by 27/7/2017!

anyway, at 5: 30 pm he promised to send someone to move back the furniture by tomorrow 8am,
I took another day off (second day in row in the last day of the financial year considering the busiest day for me), and stayed at home,

after 3 hours no one turned up and this guy (Justin) even did not respond the phone), finally I found him and he said sorry our guy was busy and will come later),
I am very frustrated with them, with their lies, no respect for customer.

I asked them for refund the deposit + the money I gave the removalist + my two days of salary as it was wasted by them, but they didn't accept,

Now I am left in the limbo and don't know what to do,

Never trust them,

My only remaining option is complaining to fair trade,

Never ever trust these guys.
