Beware when using, when you scan your card it keeps taking $$ and not stopping at the allocated time. You have to actually find and press the “stop” button. It’s quite deceiving and not like any other car wash I have used before. Ripped off an extra $10

Was charged $20.50 instead of the advertised $6.50. Thought this was an error that I would be able to call up and receive a refund. Wasn’t until I read other reviews that I realised that they always charge $20.50. If you advertise $6.50, charge $6.50. This is a dodgy business model and makes your customers feel ripped off. I’m entirely disappointed and will never return.

I enjoyed using car lovers but now you have given cashless choice. Sad.

The Auto car washes have been reduced in time and wash cycle to the point where it isnt worth doing at all any more - car comes out dirty streaked and almost as bad as when it went in. $20 "Premium" was just, isnt!

Can't use coins anymore so I used my card and was charged $20 for 5 minutes! After waiting 25 minutes for a bay to free up now that they only have two bays for hand washing down from four previously.

Auto car wash I think used to do a better job than it does now. A 50c surcharge to use auto wash is a bit rough

Really good car wash. It costs about $8 for a hatchback if you do it yourself. Love the vending machines for car deoderisers.

I use the dog wash every week and on several occasions the shampoo function has not worked. Always difficult finding a worker to report equipment failures.

I'd like to see the clearance height on the auto wash increases. I'd swing by every week

Best customer service for a car wash! Two individuals welcomed me to the Laser Washer and assisted me with Efpos difficulties. Very much recommend and a very fast clean, legends!

Very over priced and the manger was not helpful and rude as can be! I approached him and ask if the other guy was around to help me again and he yelled and said he won’t help me his a trainee and definitely won’t be able to help me I said he did before and he said rudely no he won’t be helping I will be with a bad attitude! Hopefully the trainee gets the jobs so the other guy can get a reality check because maybe that’s not a job for him!

Very overpriced. It cost $15 for 5mins of the self car wash (could barely scrub the wheels properly in that time), so I decided to pay $20 for the automatic laser wash which was the shortest laser wash I've ever received. $35 for a mediocre wash in the end. There's plenty of other places around with much better value for money. Definitely would not recommend.

Used the automatic car wash on the most expensive setting. Very disappointed with the results. The car still had quite a bit of bird poo left on it. Would suit cars that are pretty clean already. Not enough self-serve bays at this carwash as well. The process of getting a receipt is very tedious, as you had to scan a qr code which then took you to a page where you had to fill out a bunch of details to complete the form. Doing my tax return every year is almost easier than this form. Clearly designed by someone who cares about making money more than serving the customer's needs. Will not visit this car wash again.

Recently used the car wash. Had the base charge of $15.50 but stopped at around $10 and pressed the stop button. Was charged $15.50 5 days ago when I attended but have not received a reimbursement. How can I get a refund for the difference?
Update: no response, no acknowledgement, no refund.
I wint be using carlovers again because I've seen reviews from other people experiencing the same issue. If the merchant doesn't dk anything about it clearly it's a scam. Might even make a complaint to fair trading.

Used the auto car wash. Unsure what the purpose of it is if it doesn’t actually clean your car. $20 and I still have bird poo on my car?

Rip off take 15 dollars off your card and if u only use 2 mins keep the 15 dollars cause no cash option anymore

Paid $20 for a super wash and the result was very poor, the 'so called' super wash was just a gentle spray. Not worth the effort of time

Visiting my mum i noticed her car needed a good wash and a bit of a polish. Not having my stuff with me i popped into car lovers newcastle. Plenty of bays available, 20 dollars for a thorough wash and wax. Nice job. I was in and out in 10 minutes
