Carlile Swimming Freshwater

Yes, as previous reviewers have said, their teachers are very patient and very nice, but the flexibility of their system / policy is really. Bad.
Especially after you accidentally take the wrong class, or can't attend the class for some reasons, their make-up policy is way too strict. You just waste of your money.

Modern clean outfit with friendly people. Lanes can get a bit cramped for the kids during busy times.

Our toddler has been attending Waterbabies classes at Carlile Freshwater for the last 6 months. The instructors are good, particularly Deb who is great, but unfortunately customer service is lacking. It is always difficult to get them on the phone and they are not helpful when wanting to end the agreement (even though we wanted to go back at the end of winter) and show no flexibility if you get Covid.

Carlile Freshwater is fantastic, great facility, lovely teachers, and my daughter loves it!

Carlisle is by far the best swimming school in the area. Few reasons why they stand out based on my experience:
- Quality of staff: exercises and way of teaching are really effective. They know how to keep it challenging, but yet exciting / fun for the kids.
- Tailored to individual skill level: the intake assessment was perfect for my daughter to gage her level. They put her at entry level as she was not there yet on one specific skill. This ensured her first classes were very positive rather than her struggling her way through. Also, she needed the more playful nature of the entry level classes. Extra bonus: she loved getting her first certificate after she was promoted after a few weeks!
- Thorough evaluation and assessment: apart from solid evaluation of the exercises by the teachers, there is constantly one extra person to observe the classes, assess progress of the kids, and sometimes advise the instructors. Also, feedback for the kids is shared with the parents.

Overall, super engaging folks that create a friendly and effective learning experience!

Highly recommend Carlile Swimming at Freshwater. The staff are wonderful and really go out of their way to make sure your child is getting the most out of their lessons.

Amazing swimming lessons for toddlers. We were at a different swimming pool before and our almost 3 year old seemed to pick up more after just one lesson here. The staff are really friendly and seem to love their jobs.

Fantastic facilities. Quite chaotic at first (taking our 6 month old swimming) but you get into the swing of things. Having the app is very handy.
