Caringbah Leisure Centre

Since when did the council stop taking cash. Kids go leisure centres and they don’t carry debit cards with them. Kids being refused entry because you’ve decided you don’t take cash. Last I heard, cash is a legal currency.

Perfect for kids learning to swim! The pool is clean and warmed, which is great for little kids starting out swimming. Open late too so can avoid daytime crowds

A steamy winter morning swim, it’s not getting in that’s the problem, it’s getting out.
At approx. 30* 25mtrs Program pool is a little to warm for lap swimming in summer.

No progress after Susie left, she was wonderful! No good swimming teachers left in Caringbah! No progress since July 2022!

I’ve been coming to the same pool for years. And I have noticed that it’s definitely not as clean as it used to be. All the pools look like they need a bit of a sprucing up and a good scrubbing. Same with the change rooms. It would also be nice to know if there was squad training and the like before you enter the pool and pay, a few times I’ve taken my children there and there really hasn’t been any place much to swim. So having the option to know that before hand would be good. Otherwise we wouldn’t bother and pay for admission, and just come another day.

It's a great big place and Abyss Scuba does PADI scuba training there sometimes, which can be interesting to watch.

Nice pool with lifeguard. Heated to 21°C in winter but toddler pool closed in winter and toilets need more cleaning.

Attended for a swimming carnival, no cover for the outside main pool, entire grass area was a mud pit and puddles.

A relatively small leisure centre, but the pools are clean and well maintained. Not a lot of onsite parking, so when it gets busy you may have a walk ahead of you.

Beware of the thieves in the changing rooms, make sure not to leave anything there. Recently, someone stole my running shoes from the male changing room so I had to walk all the way home bare foot. Be alert.

It'd be great if they had free code-locked lockers like in Ashfield Aquatic centre to help with thefts.

Like going back in time (in a good way). Would be great if they sold hot chips though, especially now that the popcorn machine is broken.

The nostalgia. There is just the right amount of leaves, twigs and dirt in it to make me wistfully remember the family pool all those years ago, before everyone started living in units. More bandaids in this pool compared to.mine though.

These pools are quite expensive for what you get. There aren't any worth while options for families to save a little for buying multi visit passes etc. The pools are always very busy and there is minimal staff working. The pools are not the cleanest.

First time visiting. Both pools extremely busy with school kids. Pools seem quite old and damaged. If you plan on visiting on a hot day, try to avoid school hours. Parking was easy.

Does not compare to Sutherland Leisure centre, but has lovely staff and is perfect for lap swimmers

The 50m pool is good all year round with a great smaller pool that is heated and the lessons run are well structured and the staff are all very kind and friendly

Went to Caringbah pool to check and see if I would be able to walk into the pool for water walking as I have a bad knee and can't do ladders. The lady who greated me was very helpful and I am now looking forward to returning to do water walking excerise.

Great outdoor pool, heated to 26oC in winter, warm showers. Be aware that they give you 2mn continuous hot shower, you then have to wait 1mn+ to get water again

Convenient close parking. Well maintained swimming pool, friendly staff. Caringbah pool also has several lifeguards who do an excellent job keeping the swimmers safe and surrounding pool area orđerly. I swim & walk regularly with a couple of mates it's always enjoyable.
