The place is actually really cool, and the items are nice.
But it’s just not very polite when you ask for the price of an item, and the answer you get is “ oh it’s really expensive, it’s really up there”
Maybe don’t assume if someone can afford it or not. That’s just pure rudeness.

Wow - I was not expecting a store with so many quality and quirky (in a good way) homewares.this store is worth a visit.

We visited this store over the long weekend in Oct. It is definitely a must visit when around Coffs and Bellingen. It is attached to the Old Butter Factory Cafe. The collection here is amazing. They're not just antiques - but functional exclusive furniture and interior decor from Indonesia, Morocco and India. The owner is friendly and takes time to explain the make of each product and its speciality. The teak mats we purchased from here look great, and sturdy.

Cargo Lane is another world, an absolute MUST each time we come to Bello. The furniture. Arrrgh.divine. The myriad exotic decor pieces that have me feeling I’m travelling in other worlds. I found a bright orange parrot we’ve called Patagonia. What a total treat. SO MANY TREASURES.

Went to Bello for lunch and came home with a table & chairs. Closing time at Cargo Lane - 'Come on in and look around' said Kerry with a big welcoming smile, felt like we were visiting an old friend. Just lovely. Simon delivered our table and chairs fours days later & again so friendly, nothing was a bother. We absolutely love our gorgeous table and chairs. Thank you for your amazing friendly service and having such great taste. We most definately will be back.

I just don’t think I have a more favourite shop than Cargo Lane. Simon and Kerry are always so accomodating and honest and Cargo Lane is full of original and interesting furniture. Cargo Lane has turned our house into a home. We love it.

Every year I have a holiday at Sawtell and the highlight of the break is a visit to Cargo Lane at the Old Butter Factory at Berringen. Each year I treat myself to a special treat that sustains me until the following year's holiday. This year I came home with a beautiful timber elephant which enriches my soul every time I see it.

Gorgeous store with some truly unique pieces. Perfect spot for Christmas if your shopping for someone who has "everything".

Great selection, helpful service. Parking was average but nothing they could do about that.

I brought a leather couch i am so happy with it and cant recommend cargo lane enough. Their service was fantastic and they had it delivered to me without any problems.

Saw this Sideboard in Cargo Lanes Beautiful shop in Bellingen and fell in love with it! Simon the owner hand delivered the piece to me and helped me move it into it's space which it fits perfectly. Beautiful products and amazing customer service!

We purchased a premium water feature from Cargo Lane that included delivery and setup in the price. When it came we were surprised to find it had shrunk compared to the one we paid for based on their demonstration unit in the shop. When we purchased this, we obtained measurements (which were included on the invoice) in order to build the slab to fit the unit. Our unit that arrived was 110 mm shorter from front to back resulting in no real space for water plants we had expected to put in the base pond. Yes, we will be able to hide our oversize slab in time with plantings but it was disappointing that Simon of Cargo Lane did not want to acknowledge or do anything about the shrinkflation of our purchase.
ADDENDUM (to original review written 5 months ago - following the edited response from Cargo Lane owner) : Yes, following my review, we did get a text offering to come and take the water feature away but we didn't really want to go through the potential unpleasantless of them returning to take the unit away and to then be left with a large empty slab (involving about 5 bags of concrete) and then no water feature. The review was about the item we purchased being smaller than what we paid for and Simon not acknowledging our concern at the time regarding this or offering any compensation (except later to come and remove it).

A great unique collection of fine furniture and accessories, have purchased a number of items for my home and still admire the look and style. Worth checking them out on your next visit to the Old butter factory.

I recently purchased a Molmic sofa and matching arm chair from Cargo Lane and was very impressed with the customer service experience. They helped me customise the fabric upholstery to suit my lounge room colour scheme and everything was delivered to my door without a fuss. Will definitely be a repeat customer as they have a stunning range of furniture from around the world which I'm already adding to my wish list!

Recently I purchased a Molmic 3 seater Coogee lounge in red velvet, gorgeous colour. It comes in a good quality material and a great range of rich colours to choose from.
Previously I bought a Leather and Velvet couch, Degas, both different designs but go well together. If you want something different it is the shop to go to.
I highly recommend Simon and Kerri, great service eager to help you. Love this shop.

A great place to visit. They have some very beautiful things that are hard to find elsewhere. All sorts of home wares for the home decorator.
