Been seeing same doctor for many years. He retires and we are told sorry can't absorb into other doctors. You will have to find another GP. Haha where. Not happy

Dr Gibbs is fabulous and caring.
It is the rude and unhelpful reception staff who make this practice a dread to visit.
I have changed practices recently after an injury that required the practice to send my medical records to my surgeon.
They made this a difficult process and even at one point said “they didn’t have time”.
Even trying to get an appointment, they speak about the doctors like they don’t like them which comes across unprofessional.
Judging by the other reviews this is a common occurrence for others also.
I have since moved over to another practice and the kindness and care of Elm Rd at Warner’s Bay puts Cardiff to shame.

Been going here for 10 years. Always find the reception staff easy to deal with even when they are busy. Dr Callen is fantastic, and great with my kids. Nurses are also great and try their best to make the kids immunisations a pleasant experience.

I gave 5 stars as Dr Osmotherley and Rajka are the main ones I dealt with over the last 15 plus years and they both have gone above and beyond the entire time for me and my family. I have thanked you many times over the years so you already know this. I have been going to this practice for over 25 years and was extremely comfortable there the whole time. We have to move on now as Dr Osmotherley has left and all other Doctors have closed their books. Thank you for all those years

Always had friendly service at this Practice. Sadly my doctor is semi retiring, so I have to look for another doctor/practice.

Began going to these Drs after a bad experience down the road. Unable to wear a mask not a problem. Receptionist are always friendly and polite. I see Dr Kumba Moseray. What such a beautiful woman nothing is ever a problem. I love my new doctor and glad I changed.

I completely understand the bad reviews here. I've been going to this practice for about 6 years. In that time, I have seen about 15 doctors. This was not my choice, but "doctor availability" forced the situation: every time I'd return after a few months, that doctor was unavailable or on leave / maternity leave/ only a locum and had left. (I've since figured out: I was getting bumped from regular doctors because my primary treating condition is a mental illness. This is simply too much work for them, so they refuse to treat you any longer. There is very little possibility of continued care, as you have to explain the details AGAIN and again, and not all doctors are equally adept at accessing records). The best doctors were always the locums who left the practice after a few months. I don't blame them; anyone with professional ethics would figure out the situation, and run not walk out of here. Of the regular doctors, who are much harder to see, in my experience the range was from great to so-rude-can-I-complain-about-her-rudeness? To one doctor I *swear* was drunk. Either that, or he had a condition that caused him to smell like alcohol and act drunk and become grabby. I didn't complain, because I'd been to this practice long enough to know they wouldn't believe me or care. I'd say this practice is fine if you don't care who you see, and don't have an ongoing or complicated condition. If you have any mental illness, NEVER go to this practice. My mental illness condition deteriorated after sporadic, unhelpful, and just plain bad "treatment. "
My most recent doctor (Rakesh Goyal) yelled at me that I was talking too much, told me he didn't have time to attend to my questions, asked confusing and bizarre questions (eg "You have to ask your doctor. Who is your doctor? " Me: "You are my doctor. " Dr Rakesh: "No. WHO. IS. YOUR. DOCTOR. " Me (increasingly confused) "You are my doctor. What do you mean? " He became more and more angry. I eventually realised the problem was this person legitimately did not know or care that he'd been "treating" me for a while.
(Fun postscript: I just checked my Medicare records: he charged me a long session to yell at and confuse me for 15 minutes. He actually called me several days later to "check how my treatment at John Hunter E. D had gone. " I didn't want to speak to that or any Cardiff G. P.doctor ever again, but welcomed the opportunity to (politely) tell him how unhelpful, cruel, and inept his "treatment" had been. He has charged Medicare a long session for this phone call.
This practice could genuinely make its entire income if every doctor simply made "apology" calls.

Yikes, the receptionists are AWFULLY rude, especially one receptionist in particular called Rajka, very snappy attitude every time I call and slams the phone down - the others are just random with what-ever mood suits them on that day, no professionalism. The doctors are incredibly lazy and unambitious in helping and lack sympathy, medical issues are not taken as seriously as other practices. Think twice before you go, it is a waste of time.

This practice has been our family practice for many years. Our children see doctor Philp who was been fantastic with them. Very proactive doctor with great initiative, always acknowledges our children and develops a good rapport with them. We also see doctor Moseray who I can't fault. Love the appointuit app option for booking appointments super convenient. Reception staff have always been great to us, friendly and courteous

Been seen my GP for 12-13years now. Any practice he moved too, me and my kids keep following him.
Reception stuff need training and need to put a note on patients file each time they talk to patients, on the phone or walk in.
Passed 3weeks now, trying to book to see my GP, so i can get a script for blood pressure that am taking.
Because i moved houses, i have lost a script and run out of my tablets.
My GP always booked out, days am off or times that I can quickly get away from work.

I asked if the reseptionest if she can ask my GP, if it's okay to wright me a script and I can come quickly and pick it up.
I been told already 3times that they will give me a call back. Which never happened and no note on the file as well.
All i hear that to the hospital
We not sure who you talk to on the phone.
Why there's no record kept?
Am a nurse and I do receptions work as well.
Each time a patient call or walked in. Everything goes on patient note, in thier file.
Maybe stuff need to start doing that or need training on how to do this easy steps.

This has been my families doctor for over 10 year now and they have always been fantastic. I now travel 45 minutes to still see them.
