It was a quick visit that remained 2 hours, including the coffee. Amazing view of the cost combined with nature. Nice and easy trail and a wonderful place for the morning coffee.

The place is more beautiful at night, I recommend taking a flashlight and going on an electric bike.

A must-visit course when you come to Byron Bay! It's so pretty and the photos come out really well. I was worried because it was very windy, but it wasn't too windy and it was warm. I thought the parking fee was $8, but it went up to $10. There was only one spot left, so I parked there, but there were a lot of cars after 4 p.m. And around sunset. I recommend that you come back then too!

There are free parking lots scattered around, so you can park your car. However, I went there during the day on a Tuesday and there were quite a few cars parked there, so if your timing is bad it might be a little difficult.

Very difficult to find a parking space, guess it’s because it was a weekend. Like us, many others had to return back since we couldn’t find a parking. But the view from the point was breathtaking.

Must do if you are in Byron Bay. Great views and likely to spot dolphins / whales. The walk to the lighthouse is amazing alongside the beaches / hill with nice views. Don't forget to take a pic of the most easterly point on the Australian mainland.

Such a nice spot, and definitely the most scenic light house headland in Australia that I have been too and I has seen quite a few when I did a lap around the country. We saw whales breaching out to sea and the walk up and around the light house is spectacular. I know it can get very busyat peak times, but the $8 parking fee at the top car park isn't bad considering it saves you one helll of a walk if you're not up to it. There is a few parking meter spots part of the way up but not many. How ever you choose to get up there, it won't disapoint.

Australia's most easterly point.
Perhaps the best view to be had in the whole country. The ocean is such a beautiful turquoise and so clear we saw 2 pods of dolphins, many whales heading south to cooler waters. A lone shark and a giant Sea Turtle. Also incredible views of the beaches both south and north of the lighthouse with Mount Warning in the back ground.

It was really quiet when I went recently due to COVID-19 restrictions. Parking is $8 or you can find some parking which is a bit of a walk. They have updated the trail - you can now go down towards the beach. We saw a pod of dolphins which was a great experience!

Beautiful spot to watch the waves (and whales if you’re lucky!). Definitely do the circular hike. Lovely any time of day - a popular spot at sunrise.

Great views of the district and coastline, spot some whales and dolphins if you're lucky, and a handy cafe to grab a bite and a drink whilst enjoying the spectacular views.

Been here 10 years ago and views are still as fantastic as before. Come here for sunset but be prepared to hike very steep steps if you are intending to walk to the most easterly point of Australia's mainland.

Must visit if you're in Byron Bay. Stunning views along the walking track. Fisherman's Lookout, wategos beach, most Eastern point of Australian mainland, and finally the lighthouse, the walking track to the lighthouse packs a punch. Nice little cafe for refreshments near the lighthouse as well.

Great place to visit.

The parking attendant / ranger at the top selling parking tickets was a really nice guy.

Walked down to the beach as well which was worth the couple hundred steps!

Dolphins were spotted!

Most Eastern Point of the Australian Mainland. Great views, seasonal whale watching, dolphins and bush turkeys all over the place. If you are driving, there is limited parking and costs $8. Walking trail is steep and a certain level of fitness is required. The views at the top are excellent. A must if you in the area.

Literally the most iconic attraction in Byron. Whilst the popular destination see parking incredibly difficult to find, a wall along the lighthouse amidst the sea breeze makes it all worthwhile.

After an hour plus walk from the centre of town the gift store was closed, Information centre was closed and no tours up to the lighthouse as has previously been the case. No explanation and nothing on their website. I rang the lighthouse and the lady that answered said she didn't know why they weren't open. I asked a ranger up at the lighthouse and he said they have been closing recently on a Wednesday and he didn't know why. This is cold comfort for out of towners looking to purchase in the gift shop and go to the top of the lighthouse. Unacceptable. Also the cafe was the only thing opened and it only sells sweets and one type of quiche.so if you are looking for a substancial lunch forget it! Very disappointing and someone should be held accountable for their poor advise to the public. And why aren't they open Wednesdays?

Great spot to visit. The view is amazing. Shame you cannot go up into lighthouse. Mind bogglinging how houses are built on sides of hills and hollows. Would not like to live on lighthouse/marine parade, very narrow roads in need of repair. Very different to when I visited quite some time ago.
