Canterbury Park Racecourse reviews
31It was my first time at the Canterbury course. Beautiful little venue, friendly staff and on my particular day; a very nice crowd of people. Thank you to everyone that makes it happen.
Great Atmosphere, Food prices was a Rip Off, But other than that was a great night good night out for the family n kids
The Friday night markets are excellent for kids. Beautiful selection of food trucks, rides and jumping castle for kids
Great Family Orientated Kia Twilight Racing every Friday Fortnight until the end of February 2023.
The Staff are very Polite, Helpful and make your experience here a memorable one.
Free Entry just on Kia Twilight Evenings and KiA Cars get a free Car Wash if you get there early.
Busy and a good family place for a few hours, however not many food options or bars. The place is run down but could be a great asset to the inner west
Love this racetrack, though it could use a little work. Plenty of food trucks and activities for the kid. I like to have a bet while I keep my 5 kids unattended and running around for 4 hours. Note that the dress standard for racecourses doesn’t exist here - jorts and thongs are welcome
Whenever you feel the need to see a thing of beauty, get a good spot. Then wait for for the sun to slowly set. If you capture one of the best ones, I assure you, you'll have tears at the corner of your eye at the very least.: - @jameslove. 11
It was our first time here and we simply loved it.
Lovely and friendly staff.
Great food.
A very well set out race course for these hard times with covid 19 but you feel safe with the way they have it set out.
Best night out with kids, beautiful horses, and fantastic street food. Love Canterbury. Best raceday event.
What a let down! What happened to the even? T. Cheap, carni vibe. Last year was amazing, not this year not going back.
Family night always fun. Good range of food outlets, space for kids to run around while adults can enjoy too.
I enjoy my visits to Canterbury Racecourse but feel that it's in desperate need of funds from the ATC to refurbish and bring the grandstand up to scratch. Facilities are basic and member facilities in particular are poor.
First time to Canterbury Park race course. Our horse was racing in the main event race.
What great facilities at this track, everything you want is there, and very clean modern facilities.
Thank you to all the staff, especially the staff in the owners/Trainers lounge for making a great night when our horse Charlie won the race.
We live a stone's throw from the race course. We often attend the Friday Night Racing to have a meal and catch-up with friends. They have plenty of variety when it comes to food.
The kids have lots to do as well, rides, face painting and movies on a big screen.
It's great to get out and enjoy a free night for families.
Lots of parking in surrounding carparks.
Infield carpark is a far walk for kids and older people
Heaps of free fun things for the kids, ponies ride, jumping castle, face painting. Great variety of food trucks, a little expensive but had some good food.
Beer $7.50 not a bad profit on a $55 carton! Meals my advice don't eat them. $10 for dried out unchewable roast pork roll with a teaspoon of gravy generously dribbled over said pork on a so called once fresh roll, unable to eat or swallow, one of mates had the beef same story! My other friend dined on fish and chips they called 3 thin battered dried out fish fillets of some description with a side of over cooked fries $16! I will attend more meetings as I enjoy your venue but shall dine else where before hand such as Macca' s or KFC where you get what you paid for! Thanks again Bob Hoile
I went at Canterbury and tried a Brazilian BBB called Pampa Flame, that was a very delicious steak made just with salt in a charcoal grill!
Nice park, plenty of shade. Flying fox is always a winner.
Fantastic little park for bigger kids. Great trees to climb and an excellent flying fox. Tons of fun!
