Re-visited the Campbelltown Arts Centre cafe for a late breakfast with 7 friends. This time, we were seated on the other side of the cafe adjacent to the Japanese garden. Campbelltown has a sister city in Japan. It's worth visiting the cafe and gardens just to learn more. As before, the service was prompt, and we were served by bright, cheerful staff. This always gives a good feeling. Coffee's came out first. I had a large skim flat white (my usual) to judge consistency. Coffee was good but not above average. I've only had 1 coffee in Campbelltown in the last 4 months that I would call above average. (Coffee standard in Aust everywhere is quite high, so its hard to find anything above average). Food was, again, very good. Well conceived and nicely executed. Very pretty plating too. We were all quite full as the servings were tasty and satisfying (see photo's). No adverse comments from anyone. Well worth a visit. Recommended.

I really need to come here more often. On this visit I attended the markets which were excellent. I saw a smattering of the exhibits which were really unique. A true gem for the Macarthur area.

Dear readers, after visiting this beautiful arts institution on the weekend, both my girlfriend and I, are totally absorbed and mesmerized by the well designed and professionally presented artworks on display. This is a gem of a building and the cafe has delicious and well priced range of food, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

The more things change the more they stay the same. And if you look closely you can see the same Gleeson, the same Quilty the same same. My drawing teacher expects me to be impressed every time he shows me one of his drawings. I just can't stand this male dominated society, when there's a whole half with just as much to contribute.

Kids had a wonderful time looking at not only the amazing art pieces but also the Japanese tea house and sculpture garden. We are also looking at some art classes to take there

This regional gallery presents many interesting exhibitions featuring very modern contemporary art and sculpture to traditional paintings. On site there is a cafe and a beautiful Japanese garden.

It was my first time visiting today! And I was greeted by extremely friendly staff, who helped me find my way around.
I really loved it! Can’t wait to go and visit every new exhibition!

Looking forward to my first visit only to be terribly disappointed. I ordered a poached chicken, avocado, spinach & sun dried dried tomato toasted sandwich with chips. First the sandwich- I was worried the sun dried tomato may be too strong for the rest of the ingredients but i shouldn’t have worried. Other than a drop of sun dried tomato oil on the entire sandwich I didn’t taste it anyway. I opened the sandwich to put salt& pepper (twice) to give it flavour which helped somewhat but I didn’t even finish half the sandwich as it was just so tasteless. Now for the chips - the few chips arrived on the same plate as the sandwich but they should’ve been in a small plastic bag with crisps written over it. They were not hot chips as I expected, but crisps and only about 10 of them. Needless to say I didn’t eat those either and my lunch at the Art Centre Cafe cost me $14… I didn’t have a drink, just half a sandwich. I will not be returning and from what I overheard other diners saying, they won’t be either. Very disappointing to say the least.

This is a lovely spot to relax with loved ones and check out some fantastic art. The Japanese garden is very tranquil and sits next to the Cafe which was closed when we were there (though I have heard it's good). The gallery space was spacious and contained some great pieces. I would have loved a little bit more in the way of info about the artists and their inspiration. Staff were friendly and everything was clean. Will definitely return.

Quaint exhibit of various arts media, I believe by special needs artists. Features manga drawing, clay art, acrylic drawings, to name a few. Spent around 1h browsing the art, after that can enjoy a cuppa at the cafe.

A nice art gallery with interesting paintings on exhibition. It is a kids and pram friendly place. It won't take you long to see all the paintings. The cafe was unfortunately closed, however the Japanese garden outside was still accessible which is beautiful and serenic. Entry and parking is free. You could (in theory) bring in a picnic lunch. A pleasant visit.
