Camp Breakaway

Loved this park. Nice and quiet. The care taker was the sweetest human being, very friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. The kids enjoyed the playground, basketball and tennis court. Oh, and the garden was so tranquil and relaxing. And it was SO affordable. The only downside was that some areas could use maintenance, the basketball/tennis court and equipment there, etc, but we will definitely be back and would highly recommend to anyone with kids or pets or just looking for somewhere surrounded by nature and not too busy. The story behind the place is lovely too, definitely ask about it when you stay!

I went to camp Breakaway and just came back, it was amazing! I got to ride a horse, I did archery, I made cupcakes, I even got to ride a motorbike (I didn't control it, I just got to ride it lol) and I also got to ride a 3 wheeled bike, It had 2 seats and it was extremely fun, Would recommend.

On Saturday the 19th of March I hired out the big hall at Camp Breakaway for my engagement party which then turned into a surprise wedding?

Dean and his coworkers helped us all in every way possible to make our special day go smoothly. He communicated with us and always kept us in loop with changes or ideas he had.

We couldn't recommend Camp Breakaway and their team any more highly for the work they did

Camp Breakaway is a wonderful place. It’s there for the special people in our community and it serves a bang up job. I have delivered tiles here (old job) and been to wedding. It was by no stretch an award winning venue for the wedding but if you’re after somewhere cheap then it’s not too bad.
When delivering tiles the staff seemed very friendly and approachable.
This is not getting a 5 star review for being some swanky hotel, no it’s getting a 5 star review for the services it offers and the delivery. My normal rating system is not being utilised. Keep at it Camp Breakaway.

Went to a wedding lovely place the big hall had ample room and a big kitchen for food prep.my son stayed in a cabin overnight accommodation he said they were well equipped and very reasonable priced

What a great facility! The auditorium is very clean and large. Has a fully equipped kitchen. Good for receptions, large birthdays

Excellent facilities, great family or group fun. Climbing, canoeing, BBQs, pool, archery accommodation and more

3yr old enjoyed herself and getting face painted. But not enough for younger children left early.

I spent a week here a few months ago. It was a wonderful week for me as I found myself amongst some older folk and some my age. I enjoyed myself very much so. The meals were very good and frequently went back for seconds, GREAT FOOD!
Activities I was at a disadvantage as movement for me is difficult at best. I shared a room with a man on or about 100 years old and under a gruff external front, behind all that, it just washed away as a man to be very friendly indeed.
The staff at work at the joint all worked hard to get everything that someone may have wanted or needed. A entities were extremely good, they were refitting a number of the double rooms whilst I was there. So the number that they normally have in camp was a little short. To my knowledge this place only runs on donations from highly regarded organisations and if they don't come then the place will not be able to run.
That would be a real shame and I hope funding into the future is found so that another year may be planned. Would I like to return there again, yes I most enfactically have to say: My Oath I would go there. At the drop of a hat I'd go. In a heartbeat I'd go again. I feel it gave my lovely wife a Breakaway from me and Visa versa. That's why it's called Camp Breakaway; it gives both parties a break from the burden I lumber on my wife and the cry of help from my wife. Just what both parties need.
I deffinately would like to go again.

A Great place for people who have a disability. So they can have a Holiday and enjoy the central coast.

What a wonderful facility for people from all walk of life! We really didn't have any complaint to be made. Great for schools, business teambuilding, and everyone else.
Especially only one group on site at any time!

A wonderful Community Service Organization. Safe and well equipped for all the needs of Parents needing respite for Loved ones with Special Needs. Great for your Church and other Organizations to hold daily or week long functions

I went here for a new years eve event they were holding. The event catered mainly to kids but they provided great entertainment and provided information and resources to the community.

The hire out their venue for private events at a reasonable price and proceeds go back into the camp.
