Camera House - Erina

I have let Camera house handle the developement of my film. It was a Kodak gold 200. They have developed it within a few days and send it to me scanned via dropbox, wich isn't my favorite option (I would prefer a private link wich would allow me to download the files. Like that I had to have a dropbox account, wich is free so it's not that big a deal, but regardless). The scan has a good quality but the developement left things to be desired. As such the film was likely not developed with the Kodak C41 process as the Color intensity just wasn't on the level it should have been. Also some photos have green areas to them wich is very unpleasend. I have never had this with any of my films before, so I doubt that this was a problem on my end. It seems more likely they let some light spill on it, or it was due to them not using the Kodak process.

Nonetheless some people will probably prefer the worse colours as it looks "older" and more vintage. And the Price wasn't bad.

Went in today just for some advice regarding a new pocket camera. Was met with the best two blokes (Gary and Andrew) who couldn’t have been happier to share their knowledge. Means the world to have people this passionate about the craft to help us out and will be back to visit!

Fantastic staff, meet some of the team at Hot Shots a brilliant photographic expo last weekend st the Central Coast Leagues Club. I got an unbeatable deal on a Sony A7iv camera body and i could not be happier. Staff are super knowledgeable and like me camera nerds! Thanks Michelle your awesome. The staff here are amazing! They went above and beyond to get my pictures to me quickly and answer my questions. A week later I came back to the shop as I had hung my frame incorrectly and damaged it (my own fault). The staff dropped what they were doing and pooled their resources to repair it for me even though they are not frame makers. Every time I go in this store they are so friendly. Wonderful customer service!

These guys have a lot of knowledge about photography. I have been in there a few times and they have been very helpful and informative. I purchased a lens and they matched the price of a walk in store. I also purchased a flash and they came pretty close to matching the cheapest price I could find. If you just want some good tips or want to buy something they are happy to help. Don't risk buying online as if it doesn't work you can take it back if you buy local. They also have lots of good second and stuff. Make sure you ask them to price match when you buy new. Do your homework first.

A really great photographic shop attended by staff who are truely interested and knowledgeable about cameras, photography and the equipment.

Tried for a couple weeks to find a specific camera from other stores and when I emailed Camera House Erina they had 2 in stock and were able to put one on hold for me! Communicated with Mike over email and he was very helpful and the whole process was great. He was even able to put the camera in a package for me with a lens which was amazing. When I went into the store to purchase the camera the staff were very friendly and helpful. Would recommend both online and in-store purchases from Camera House Erina!

Above and beyond service at Erina’s Camera House when I recently had some issues with my Canon Selphy ink cartridges. So helpful, resourceful and nothing was too much trouble. I can’t recommend the team highly enough in resolving my problem - so appreciated.

I made the mistake to print off photos for a last minute gift for my mother and MIL at KMART and it was awful and discoloured.

I called the camera house to see if they could do a last minute print and the 2 ladies working there were so lovely and the photos are perfect! 100 % recommend!

I had 13 mini video cassettes converted to DVD and USB 2 of the cassettes were broken, Karen fixed both one was 26 years old which I actually thought I'd lost and she converted them, they had good picture quality and now all the good and funny memories are on 1 stick and I have the DVDs as well, I cannot recommend Karen and camera house enough, great people that do a great job, thanks again

If I could give more stars I would! Big thanks to Pat who promptly called me back when I enquired about a certain lens that was hard to find. They had it in stock and shipped it right away and got it the next day! I will definitely have these guys on my shortlist of camera stores to purchase from. Thank you!

You must go to Camera House in Erina if you want to get good passport photo.

I recently had a photo restored and I was amazed with the result! The photo I provided had glass stuck to it, was completely faded had lost all of it's finer details in a large section due to the colour fading. I provided a tiny "proof" of the original photo as well and they reprinted the photo in it's original glory, much to my amazement. I can't comment on the price as I didn't compare with anywhere else, but I found it to be more than reasonable for such quality work.

I had one of the best customer service experiences at Camera House Erina, thanks to Mike.

I am located in VIC and making a purchase from NSW was not an issue at all, as Mike was able to work out an awesome deal, organise everything I needed and getting everything shipped to me on the same day, with 15 minutes from purchase confirmation to postal cutoff.

John and Mike, you'll have won me over with your excellent service, communication, deal and after sales service organising a tutorial with Nikon for my new purchase. I will keep coming back to you for more things.
