Cambewarra Mountain Lookout reviews
76 Beautiful lookout point overlooking the Shoalhaven region. ESP the river joining into the sea. Can also see Jervis bay area. Has a cute cafe on top too but was closed by the time we had arrived.
The ascent and turn off from the main road to the mountain lookout is a bit tricky as the road is narrow and steep with only 1 vehicle able to pass comfortably. So invariably the other will need to hug the edges of the road.
Absolutely amazing view up there, wonderful coffee, over see the town and all the way to the sea. Road conditions was not great.
Magnificent view, nice atmosphere with beautiful scenery. Good coffee and drinks options. Milkshake was huge. It’s an awesome lookout and you can enjoy afternoon tea or coffee or lunch here. Love this place
Not a lot of food available. The server was passive aggressive. They did not serve lunch a minute over 2: 30 even though we drove a whole hour just to get here.
Best during clear skies, but the view is spectacular no matter what, always wildlife to see as well.
If you're lucky you might get to watch paragliders.
Always great food and the staff are so polite and welcoming. The Mushroom beef burger is a must.
Beautiful views! Scrumptious, well priced meals at the cafe and friendly service. Definitely a place we will go back to!
The view and setting is great, as it is nestled in one of the rainforests the region is known for. The lane leading up to the tea house is a bit treacherous if in a wide vehicle but there’s plenty of parking once up the top
Beautiful views. We had the Ploughmans Lunch which was delicious. Fabulous service from the staff and the wine is sensational. We will be back.
Loved the Parrots eating seeds provided. There were King Parrots, Rosella and Magpies all enjoying the food together, albeit each in turn! They squark and screech and get quite uppity if each one's personal space is threatened. It all seemed to work out in the end, as all got to munch away at the seeds.
Was an amazing view. Looked great in an out. Was too cold for outside.
The food was great and friendly service.
Recommend the burgers and shakes!
Amazing view, nice restaurant and cafe next to it. Make sure your are warm during winter, because it's cold.
Amazing views of the beautiful Shoalhaven, meals with tea/ coffee available. You won't be disappointed with the outlook.
Fantastic views, beautiful birds great coffee. A favourite place to visit when we are down this way.
An absolutely amazing lookout. My friend and I passed here and I couldn’t get over the scenery.
There is a restaurant up top but we were speechless at the lookout. There is a lot of room to sit and just take it all in.
To have accidentally stumbled on this place was remarkable. I’ll definitely be going back so I can try the food up at the restaurant. The drive up there was so peaceful.
Nowra is visible from here with the traffic that goes in and out of it too!
Not a bad idea to check the traffic you'll be meeting if you're heading southbound to Jervis Bay area.
Roadworks are being done currently to accomodate for the increasing traffic so be prepared to queue at intersections!
Was told by a friend that morning so we went. Spectacular views beautiful inside and out ploughman's lunch was real nice. Can't wait to go back to try something else.
Such a pretty lookout with really delicious cafe food. The Moroccan chicken skewers were so juicy and yummy and the server was super lovely:) honestly a great place to visit
Breathtaking view.
I'd recommend to go in the morning for nice pictures.
The road to get there is quite narrow, not so good for inexperienced drivers like me haha, but it's manageable.
We didn't get to eat at the Cafe at the pinnacle, but it seemed really good.
