Caltex / Ampol Foodary Cobar reviews
33Dropped in this morning and all I can say was the service was sub par, very unpleasant young gentleman worked the counter with a terrible attitude. A bad impression for a store front. And Tommy 90H said the brekkie wraps are ordinary at best.
I got some hot food from there food was ok but I walked out and left a pie behind he didn't even sing out to say I left something behind very poorly under trained staff so I bet he sold it to someone else so I'll go back to another place in town with good staff
Sweetest rep at the desk. Chatted about Seattle and F1. Absolutely adored his genuine spirit. Bathrooms, coffee machine, eating area, tiny deli.
It was a refreshing change after travelling through QLD, NSW and STH Aust to come across some very clean and tidy amenities, their sandwiches were also fresh and they cooked fresh chips as well - the staff were very friendly and helpful as well ️
The only thing this place didn't have was ice but they were able to guide me to where I could get it. I thought this place was awesome. They also had a shower, which was fantastic. It's a great Traveler's Rest stop.
Okay fuel price after the NRMA discount. Store was clean. Not sure about food etc as it was fuel only we purchased.
I did not know this was open as I filled my car at an auto card swipe down the road which gave no receipt. Saw this open and got some very nice food to eat during the night drive to Broken Hill. Only negative no paper in the men's loo used hand towel
Would be no stars but can’t do that, No food again, kitchen never seems to be open, shouldn’t open or advertise it if you can’t supply it, better off getting food down the road at the inland servo last time I come into this dirty joint……
Easy access for coaches. Unfortunately, attendant was incredibly rude and totally disinterested in customers. Will find somewhere else.
Rude, 0 customer service, didn't really seem interested in serving. Bought several items of food.all shoved into 1 bag, so didnt make it bk to vehicle and bag split open, all fell onto ground.food has gravel rash and inedible. Wont be stopping there again and wouldn't reccomend.
Great little truck stop literally in the middle of nowhere. Awesome food and friendly as staff.
Dreadful coffee. Cheap, but dreadful. I was directed to the machine where you make it yourself, and it's just one of those auto-coffee machines that grinds the besns and then heats the watery milk itself. It needs 2 double shots of coffee to taste anything like a coffee.
Easy access with caravan. Prices still higher but cheapest in town. Suds in windscreen bucket making bugs easy to remove. Staff very polite
Got fuel & food. Still setting up by the looks under Ampol banner and it will be popular when fully set up
Went here tonight to get something to get meal and told not doing meals anymore
Nothing else open
Dirty. No coffee machine. Massive pot holes all through the truck driveway and where you fill up. Won't be back.
The service station displays 'Rewards' card logo but doesn't accept the fuel vouchers that the program offers.
Scammers praying on travellers.
Dirtiest fuel stop I've ever been into. Toilets filthy no tap on hand basin. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere.
Diesel fuel pumps have been out of order for weeks. Very little stock on store and filthy amenities.
