Cahill's Lookout

Very laid back quick walk from the carpark to an amazing view of the Blue Mountains even though the weather wasn't the best.

Spectacular sunset, get in early for choice spots. Next to car park is The Boar’s Head lookout. Stunning and short 6 min walk to Cahill lookout car park. Bring an extra layer as it gets chilly.

One of the best sunsets in Blue Mountains and a valley to complement the purple vignettes on sunset horizon.

Great spot to quickly stop and take in an amazing view. Not too taxing on the legs as there's a carpark quite close. You'll find a directional map at the main part of the lookout then two aspect lookouts a few paces either side.

Great group of lookouts with fantastic views of Narrow Neck and the valley. There’s a nearby car park with an accessible ramp. There’s about 4 defined viewing areas which helps split up the crowds when it’s busy. There’s a few bench seats, but some are down steps. Can be very windy so hold on to any loose items like hats.

One the most attractive lookouts in the Blue Mountains! Views are great. Free car park with seats available on spot. 5-10 min easy walk from the car park with plenty of beautiful vegetation covering the surrounding area. Highly recommended!

Short walk on well made path from carpark to viewing platforms. Some steps. Great views of Narrowneck to the south and the valleys to the west. Close to Katoomba.

One of the best views in Katoomba. Not many tourists to contend with like the other more popular Katoomba tourist locations. Stunning views. Only one other person there when we visited.

The best place to see the Blue Mountains and no parking fees from the corrupt Katoomba Council. Try parking at the 3 sisters, they will charge you $8.00

OMG! The best sunset view, lot of car park. Bbq space. Im not sure is it possible to stay overnight with a tent tho.

Amazing lookout with amazing views. It's mesmerising to watch the sun set. Even sunrise was beautiful. Soak it all in and take lots of pics. We watched the full moon rising also and it was spectacular - the sun setting on one side and the moon rising on the other. It can get very windy, so if going in autumn / winter be prepared with warm clothing.

Great little spot, awesome place to watch the red sunset crossing over the valley. Clean, well maintained.

One of the best lookout in Blue Mountains! Don't miss or be late at this place for sunset view of Blue Mountain. Let check sunset time before you go. Note that there are only few car spaces, it's better be early there than be in time

A wonderful location to view the sunset and the various lookout points are very easy to access. But beware it can get very windy so autumn and winter remember to put some layers on.
