Cafe Montmartre reviews
20 Sydney, Mosman
Courtyard cafe approached via a medieval like alleyway or directly through to the rear of furnishing store. Courtyard flanked by nice grand singed timber seats against a sheer masonry wall backdrop. You find yourself miles away from Military Rd traffic noise. Nice coffee with super smooth froth. Well made croissant with prosciutto, cheddar and salad for brunch. Nice +

Sooo good croissant and salad!
The croissant is really fresh and delicious. My friend ordered Warm goat salad. I also tried, and it was wonderful! I will definitely go again and order that salad. And the staffs there are kind and friendly.
Lovely brunch cafe
The service was so poor compared to the local coffees in Mosman: - (. We went 3 years ago to enjoy a beautiful croissant, but this time some dishes were missing on other tables, the dish we wanted was not available, and the wine and the croissant did not taste good at all and service was long. We won't come back as we love our local coffees.
Awesome café. The food is excellent, The atmosphere charming.
A must if you are in mosman
Great spot for a breakfast or lunch. Lovely wibe, great service and food. A bit of France in Mosman. Highly recommend!
Great relax atmosphere in the courtyard with French music in the background.
We had an excellent lunch, bio organic eggs mouillettes (oh so tasty with a dash of truffle oil), generous serve of smashed avo and don t forget to try the rillettes: a must!
We had a glass of wine and finished with the flavour is and a very nice coffee.
We will be back!
Great little French courtyard hidden away next to a typical French nick nack shop. Blink and you'll miss it
Nice atmosphere in the little courtyard, good coffee, but the food was average at best.
The prosciutto croissant was overpriced and a little burnt and the smashed avo was too basic for the price.
? Are you guys still open during lockdown? Can’t get a hold on the phone as well. Thank you.
I miss this place more than my home sometimes. Everything is just so great and lil French vibes are on I don’t realize I am still in Sydney when I bite their croissants
Bit disappointed last visit. First time I went I was very happy. Mothers day was our second visit and the service was absent. Food was ok. Felt they dropped the ball. Hopefully it was an anomaly
A little bit of France in Mosman. Sitting out back, you don't know Military rd is there and you could be in a small European country town. The food and selection is great. And try the Marriage Frere French breakfast tea.
We'd walked past this alleyway entrance many times but finally got up the nerve to check this French Cafe out, and we are definitely glad we did! The food was amazing and the atmosphere of the tucked-away courtyard was incredible.
A hidden gem. Don't be put off by the location of the cafe on Military Road. The cafe is down the laneway and in a lovely courtyard. There is peace, quiet and ambiance there which could very easily be in rural France. The serving size are generous. The food was tasty. There are multiple vegetarian options and some vegan options.
This petit cafe is an oasis on the busy Military Road. Although the cafe is small, the backyard offers plenty of space so you can enjoy your coffee or tea. The food is delicious, it's hard to pick a favourite, but I must say that the croissant is probably the best in Sydney. And don't forget the tarts, they are definitely to die for.
Exceptional coffee in a secluded setting. Coffee is presented in beautiful ceramics that compliment the outdoor courtyard that feels like a slice of France. It's the perfect place for brunch or to sit and read with a coffee in the sun.
Great french made croissant, maybe the best i have had in Sydney.
Other food like ratatouille is ok for me but my friends like it. Customer service very good. The french waiter is very friendly, attentive and very helpful. Will come back for more french desserts.
Gorgeous courtyard. Super friendly staff. Incredibly fresh food. Just the best place for a hide away to have lunch with your friends.
Very nice cafe, good service and very nice croque monsieur, café and croissant. All I love. I Recommend
The host of this beautiful French hideaway went out of his way to give us the best dining experience and a little taste of France. It felt like I was in France. The food was amazing and such great value and the owners passion about the food and wine made for a wonderful lunch. Recommend highly
