Byron Photo Magic reviews
8The staff were super helpful in an emergency-passport photo situation. Even though I was stressed (and let's face it a bit annoying) they were patient and kind and made sure the photos were the right specs for my country. They do digital and physical passport photos and are very thorough which is needed for these kinds of pics. Thank you for being such a help on a busy and hectic day.
'Tanks' for the memories Byron Photo Magic - NOT. 2 rolls of my recent travels to Italy lost. And this is the best you can do; quote "We have processed your film but unfortunately there was an issue with the tank that has been used. You will receive a full refund and 2 rolls of 100 Tmax film. "
Best regards,
Byron Photo Magic
Do not trust them with your precious memories!
Unfortunately the reviews of pretty poor service seem to be true. Returned an item the next day (case and box completely unopened, untouched) with receipt and asked to return it and was told I couldn't return it but only get store credit. Only after asking again did they awkwardly agree to refund my card - I assume they understand this is not up to consumer law. Considering I also spent $120 at their store on a separate item I kept, I don't understand such unnecessarily poor treatment. Go somewhere else if you can
Good variety of gear, specially for such a small shop. Knowledgable and helpful staff and willing to go the extra mile to help. Very patient.
Recovered my dslr files for me. Awesome friendly service from long-time local business. Thank you!
Think he made the only sale on Saturday morning with me - Aus$250.00. Didn't really show a lot of interest and didn't fully know the specs of an analogue instant camera!? (Fuji Instax mini 90). Wouldn't even throw in a bottle of lens cleaner! And god knows how he'd cope with a high end digital camera!
And he had really bad breath.
Maybe I should just give him one star.
- 5 Stars if that was possible. Worst customer service in Byron! I've had repeatedly bad service from them. It is not a one-time deal. Like one time they literally ignored me for 15 minutes while I waited quietly to be served, then gave me the worst service. I left frustrated and disappointed. As somebody who works in retail I know how easy it is to provide decent service to customers and yet they act as if you are a massive inconvenience by trying to shop in their store. Not cool.
