Byron Bay Tiles

Shocking after sales experience.

The owner is very friendly and helpful when he's taking your money but sent me to the wrong address to pickup the tiles the day of the job and when I called to find out what happened instead of offering to make it right and deliver me the tiles he was rude, swore at me down the phone, refused a refund and then made me come out again to pickup the tiles the day after I needed them.

*Edited in reply: That's simply not true, all I did was push back on having to cover the $100 delivery cost. If you had of had the courage to call me, admit the mistake and apologise in the first place and offered to cover half the delivery cost instead of hiding behind your staff I wouldn't have left this review (the first time I've ever left a bad review).

I'm willing to be the reasonable one here though and give you the opportunity to call me and make this right.

We wish to thank Byron Bay Tiles for their amazing service, from providing a range of beautiful tiles for our renovation to the excellent service and craftsmanship in the laying of the tiles. Max and his team did a wonderful job, completing the project on time. We couldn't be any happier with the result.

Byron Bay Tiles are an absolute delight to deal with. They have an incredible selection and worked so closely with me to ensure the tiles we wanted were able to be delivered within a week due to tight project timelines. If you are looking for tiles in the Northern Rivers, you can't go past Max and Jo. I highly recommend them! Thank you both for making our renovation seamless.

Not a great experience,
we paid top dollars up front for the tiles we wanted,
organised to have them delivered to our build and installed while we were away. Byron Bay Tiles delivered tiles that were a different size to what was ordered. If they had of flagged this we could have managed it. Due to budget and time constraints we had no option but to get them laid and of course they don't match up, they spoilt the aesthetic of our three bathrooms. I’ve emailed them twice in the last week and they don't even bother to respond. Eventually I got a call but It's a shame that in trying to support local businesses you get treated so poorly.

Beautiful staff. Do more than just tiles. Have beautiful handles, sinks etc there too.

Max, Marian and the team at Byron Bay Tiles and Bathrooms are fantastic! The most incredible range, such incredible creative advice that is spot on and lets you play with things that you otherwise would not have dreamed of, fantastic installation.the best in town for sure.and the result. Installing new shower screens revealed problems with existing dodgy tiling. They knew who to put us in touch with, how to rectify the problem, what type of tiles we needed and all their advice was spot on. Disaster averted! Many thanks.
