Burwood Road Montessori Academy Child Care Centre

I just finished my 2 weeks practicum yesterday on this center and I really heartfully want to thank every educator for their support and love. I did on babies room and I love all of the educator. Mostly, my supervisor teacher Ms. Bhargavi was so helpful and soft with me she looked over my projects, guided me in a perfect way and she praised me for my work which made me happy and more confident as well️ And other team educators were also really encouraging I learned a lot from them by observing their interaction with the children and on my last practicum day one lovely educator Ms. Jade even gifted me a iced tea which was so nice and heartwarming. Overall, the environment is perfect for the children to grow and learn in this center? Thankyou Ms. Dora for giving me a chance to learn here. With due all respect, I want to thankyou again for the best times? ️.

They repeatedly shared photos with me of what my daughter was doing, all the things she was playing with.when my daughter was home with me.they really have no idea who’s there and who isn’t.

We absolutely LOVE Burwood Montessori! The minute my son stepped in there for his orientation, he never wanted to leave! The care and support of the teachers and managers are incredible! They really listen to what your child needs and put those things into effect. My son loves it there so much sometimes he cries when he leaves! It’s a beautiful community and I love the learning that they provide and the comprehensive newsletters on activities and events that happen. We love them! We feel very lucky to be there!

There are too many children in the infant room so not each child is getting enough attention from educators.

I have emphasized to the educator that my child got a runny nose so please make sure he is warm at all times as I don't want him to get worse. However, my child's hands were so cold and the jacket was all unbuttoned when I picked him up. Is it because fastening buttons takes too much time?

I also found a bruise on my child's chin when I got home but the educator didn't mention this at all.

I was feeling good when I had the first tour and at orientation. But after having my child stay at the centre, the expenriece is disappointing.

Great service, professional staff, great leadership by Dora who is the Director of the service. Dora is amazing she is kind, warm and nurturing with the children and very approachable and professional. She is always there to speak too and very helpful! I trust my children in her care and in the care of all the staff at the service. The staff always go out of their way to make sure my son is comforted and feeling happy. My husband and myself are extremally happy that we have finally found a great center for our son. Thank you to all the staff and thankyou Dora:)

Educators are okay. But they take too many children. 24 children in the infant room, it is such a big virus exchange centre.

My child is sick every two weeks, no exaggeration. Then they have head lice, they have gastro, they have herpes.too many dramas.

I was sending the child to allow time for work, but it make us busier on taking care of the sick child. We are always worried about his hygiene, safety and happiness (educators were exhausted and no attention given to the child).

BTW, it’s such a popular centre. Even I withdraw from the centre, no one ask me for the reason, they don’t care because there are too many people on the waiting list

If your child is over 4 years old, that’s fine. It may be a good place for preschool. But it your child is under 2, please don’t go. Your child will end with getting sick very frequently.

Seriously? Why everyone gave 5 stars? For those who want to send their kid here, don’t get fooled by these comments like I do, let me tell you what happened in REALITY!

I found several times that my kid was chewing tree branch when I picked him up, and I complained few times, but it still reoccurring until a time when I picked him up, I found a rock in his mouth, and I complained again the second day, but the educator just gave me a poker face with a fake smile saying “I will keep an eye on that”, then I have completed lost my faith, and immediately decided to withdraw from here.

The best center ever!

My daughter start her school at Burwood Rd center when she was 2yrs old which she can’t tell much words at that stage. Everything is extremely new to her and our family as well. However, teachers are very helpful for a new starter family especially whose hometown language is different from English. Now, she becomes a very active chatterbox and she makes lot of friends in school.

School shared every moments of my daughter’s school life via KeepMe App and every time when I drop off or pick up her, teachers will give some feedback about her, for instance, what she did today what she improved what she learnt or even if she had any accidents etc. I can feel a strong connection between School and families. In addition, according to children’s age or their culture diversity, teachers will arrange all kind vivid activities for them to be involved and let them learn from life which is the best way for all the little ones.

I want to say a big thank you to all the teachers (especially Toddler and Preschool room teachers) in Burwood Road Montessori for their hard work, kindness, friendly, and very quickly responded with any questions.

After be joined the big family for a year, I can say it is the best choice for my daughter’s early education life. She learnt to be an independent, friendly, cared, and a kind girl!

I have to say I made the right decision to enrol my child in Burwood Road Montessori.
My child started in this centre when she was one year old. I was very relieved that she settled in so quickly because I found the educators were very friendly and professional, they catered for my child's need and helped my child to settle in the new environment.
As she moved to the toddler room, she became more independent and responsible at home which I had to give all the credits to the educators from the day care centre. The educators also support us a lot during trasition time for the toilet training and gave us some valuable advises to support us to help our little one in the toilet training at home.
I am also very impressed of the curriculum they implement with my child everyday which is very educational, interactive and meaningful.
I'm glad that my child is having fun everyday at Montessori, and at the same time she is nurtured with knowledge and skills.

Love their eduction program. All the educators are very friendly. My daughter is very happy to go the centre and I am very glad to see her skills and knowledge improvements.

The educators are dedicated, attentive, professional and caring. State of the art learning facilities and convenient parking / access. Cannot recommend this outstanding centre enough.

Montessori Academy Burwood have provided my son quality care since he started last year. The educators are caring and invested, making the transition into childcare for the first time smooth and supportive. With a rich learning environment, my son is happy and thriving.

An excellent childcare! All the educators are very professional and respectful. We moved our daughters to Burwood Rd Montessori at beginning of this year. I have noticed big improvements on them for the past one and half month, from dress up to concentrate on doing Montessori work, emotional control. Highly recommend to other families.

Both my daughters started at Burwood road Montessori last November after moving from a different day care. I have noticed a major improvement both academically and behavioural. The staff made the transition for both the girl’s and myself so smooth and easy. I look forward to the many years my family will have at Burwood road Montessori.

Burwood road Montessori is an excellent daycare in all areas. Their learning facilities & educators have helped my son excel within 4 months of being there. I highly recommend this centre to all families.

Highly recommend this centre! I was nervous about my daughter transitioning into child care but the carers and management were there every step of the way to make things easy for both my girl and for me. My daughter loves her days there and I have the peace of mind knowing that she is being taken care of well, and that she is in an environment that helps her learn and explore. My daughter needed some extra attention with her routine, which the carers really made an effort to accommodate.
I cannot recommend this centre highly enough - in fact we are due for our second baby soon and have already enroled our bub for the coming year.

I can’t say enough good things about Burwood Road Montessori. Both of my children attend and we are thrilled with the educators, the curriculum and the campus.
