Bunnings Lismore

Couldn't find what I needed so asked one of the cashiers who was very helpful and told me what isle the product was in. Still could not find the product and a lovely lady climbed up a ladder and found it. I have been to Bunnings 3 times to find the product. I asked 2 men and they were not helpful at all. I find the ladies are better at service than the men.

Any guy would give the place 5 out of 5, it's where we can ditch the wife at the Cafe and spend an hour working on our wishlist.

Sometimes I go to the Lismore store and there’s great service and the stock is available. Other times the service isn’t great at all and low to no stock. Very hit and miss.

If you need it, they could probably have it if they have managed to squeeze back in.down grade to 3 stars.stock control failing, having to drive to Ballina Bunnings frequently.

Good location and choice but currently undergoing renovations so some items in short supply

Went to Bunnings Lismore today to buy a gas cooktop.
Nothing on display since the flood, couldn’t find a brochure on stoves, given directions to try isle 47 from lady sitting at computer. That was Bathrooms.
Finally a young lady helped us, however stoves in boxes, so it was guesswork as to how they looked or even size.
Of course we left. Bunnings Lismore was my favourite place to wander.
Yes there are renovations going on, however not even a brochure!

Downgraded to one star at best for the pathetic floor management during the build of an extension.
Could have left the old store until completion. Oh, No lets just throw all the hardware in one dark and cramped corner and good luck finding anything. Unprofessional and pathetic.
Now we have to go to Ballina ince again.

After making record profits from Covid, it would be nice if Bunnings step up and get good customer service in the warehouses. I was in the store a couple days ago and staff were dismissive or would flee when seeing customers. The woman in the paint department was rude and when I had to go back to get another product required for the painting process that she failed to tell me about, I mentioned that I felt the person was rude. The person said he had heard similar complaints from several customers.

This usually comes from the top down. Management was terrific under the previous manager. Staff had better product knowledge and wouldn't flee when seeing a customer.

From Fine Years ago: The service has not been consistent for me. Some staff seem happy to help but not across the product and the ones that know about product and DIY seem not into helping customers. Last few times have been poor service and I left without purchasing products on one occasion. I brought a part in to get a drill bit to make a hole. The staff person asked what size it is and I said I wasn't sure. They asked, "why not? " I explained that I wasn't given the size on delivery. He said, "How do you expect me to know the size? " That's why I brought it in so it could be measured and given the proper tool to do the job. I thought Bunnings was the DIY experts and could help me out. I didn't expect to cop this attitude so I left as the person started to grab something to measure the fitting. I just didn't appreciate all those comments beforehand. A simple response of, "no problems, let me get something to measure it for you and we'll get you the right part, " would've been more appropriate in my opinion. For this, I give one star for now. Hopefully some training happens and the staff are more in to helping the customers.

They didn't have the Christmas blue tooth music lights.led flood light RGB was not the bulb on the box definitely not the bulb on the box huh bunnings!

I visited Lismore store 10 November 2022. I saw 9 (yes 9) personnel at the trade desk engaged in conversation and not one acknowledged me and despite me standing there looking for assistance I was ignored by everyone of them. While searching in an aisle an employee walked right past me without asking if she could help. When I finally asked for assistance the resentment at being interrupted was palpable. Not even the greeter at the front door acknowledged me as they are required to do. Absolutely appalling service. Drove 30km to Ballina instead and never going back to Lismore.

Always good to walk around Bunnings and have a rubber-neck. Staff are more engaged than usual with the shoppers, and that's great to experience.

Rarely has what's needed in stock. If you need something from the trade section be prepared to ask 3 staff members and wait half an hour for them to come back to you

I brought my puppy to the store, and when she decided to cause a scene and I needed to take her out of the store as she was crying loudly - the two women at the door made me feel super welcome still, and asked me if the puppy was okay and chatted to me. They could have been really rude and dismissive but were super respectful and friendly and immediately stopped me from feeling embarrassed (despite the stares from some other shoppers!). Thankyou

Good parking, range of plants and other products. Always a sausage sizzle on the weekends. Workshops run at various times. Staff friendly and helpful.

One of my favourite stores in the world and the help given to or flooded community in Woodburn has been amazing! We can't thank you enough.

Its gardening centre is amazing and has everything you need for a large or small project and the prices mean everyone can afford a stunning garden

Do not buy Bunnings firewood $18 a bag what a joke the wood was covered in mud must be green or floating wood from flood because it does NOT burn if I didn't live 1.5 hours away I would have returned it and got my money back and the site makes me give them 1 star does not deserve any

First visit to the post flood store.
The layout has been changed a bit, so had to look harder for the things I wanted.
I am sure I will become accustomed to this new layout.

Shocking service on a paid delivery order. Items paid for and then sold off to someone else. Order incomplete so second delivery required to be paid for because order needs to be split. Even the trade service desk stated "It's ridiculous I know". My business will be going elswhere. I'd rather be supporting the smaller local guys from now on. I'll rather order and wait a little longer for better service.

I went to Lismore Bunnings today and had no issue with the cashiers they were friendly and professional. I had an issue with one elderly man working there who I later found out was a manager by the name of Mark. The way he conducted himself around the younger female workers and customers was wildly inappropriate and made me and my family uncomfortable. I’m shocked this behaviour is aloud in a professional work placement like bunnings.
