Bunnings Byron Bay reviews
44I have found all staff at bunnings byron are lovely! Special shoutout to the young man Cale though.he was super patient, teaching me how to mow my lawn (had never used a lawnmower before) - from what i would need, how to use, and even when it is suitable/not suitable to use catch.i had zero idea what i was doing and he was so helpful! Folks should be super proud!
Visited the store this morning and got some help from Rob, super helpful and knew alot about the products. Great Service thank you
Walked around for half an hour looking for a particular item, don't like to ask staff, usually pretty nonchalant, older staff member by the name of John must have noticed the glazed look in my eyes got me sorted, and some good advice, cheers mate
Super disappointed with the service from one of the guys behind the paint desk.
He was very condescending in the way that he talked to me when I asked him a question. Not everyone is knowledgeable about it paint hence why we ask questions. His attitude was very belittling and rude. I visit this Bunnings at least once a week for paint and he is always working and it makes me not want to visit the store because I know I’ll have to deal with him. Other than that I have had great experiences with the rest of the staff it’s a shame because he really brings the team down
Super friendly and helpful staff big enough for anything you'd need for a bunnings but not too big that u get lost
I am still shaking my head. Ask three staff were an item was (Tarps) three different answers!
I was supposedly "helped" by a man called Micheal.when i asked him if he knew if their dishwashing hoses fitted a Smeg dishwasher, he replied 'I don't know' and pointed toward the hoses and walked away. Now that I'm home I realised I needed clips too for the installation. Not happy and it's a long drive for me to go back to get them.really unhelpful, not happy.
This is about the less organize and not knowledgeable staff of all the bunnings of australia. Never have what you need.avoid go to balina or tweet head
A smaller sized Bunnings and very busy. Can be difficult to get a park but that's typical of anywhere in Byron Bay.
Bunnings of Byron Bay are a great staff very friendly and helpful Good work Byron Boys and Girls keep up your work
Bunnings Byron Bay seems accessible, in that it is not mega-store. You do not need to walk half a kilometre to find the one or two things you popped in for, yet it seems to have a very wide range of stock. Note the aisles are narrower hence, shorter searches and more aisles per square metre so more stock items than expected. The car park could be bigger but wide streets and on corner adds more spots outside.
It's a small store which judging how busy it gets at times it should be bigger. However the cost of real estate in Byron is exorbitant. So finding a bigger piece of land is going to be fun. The young team members are at different levels of experience and are doing ongoing training to improve their service so yes, sometimes it's a mixed bag of trying to find any one of the tens of thousands of products on the floor. My experience is always pleasant with whoever serves me doing their best to provide a good service to me.
Its bunnings what can I say take heaps of money as you always buy more than you went there for.lol
Bunnings. An institution for the handy person. Anything and everything from hardware, building supplies, homewares, garden plants and stuff. Excellent. Service not great help yourself or Go looking for advice so plan ahead.
The service is always 10/10 here. I am camping and had to buy a good tarp. My tent started leaking in the rain. I raced to Bunnings and the girls were so lovely. Helped me figure out the best way to put it over my tent. Spent time with me. Asked me if I needed rope too. I was really stressing that night. It was about to get dark too. I’m very happy with my experience.
A large store which stocks anything you need for painting, plumbing, gardening, backyards, bathrooms, pools, plants, ladders, shovels, elves, owls, paint mixing, trade center, or plants, pergolas, fans, inflatable flamingos, clothesline etc etc.
There is a lot that I love about Bunnings as a whole but I have to say that the customer service in Byron is shockingly poor amongst the youth working there.
Staff can walk past me many times without offering assistance. When I do find someone to ask they start with saying "I think" and pointing in a vague direction instead of saying "follow me I'll show you".
Managers of Bunnings, please ban the word
"I think " from their vocabulary and teach them that if a customer asks, it usually means that they have tried to find it already and that it is better to guide them there if you want their business. If the staff does not know the answer, they can ask someone who does. That is how service works, you don't send a customer on a goose chase. Also please have a chat with the young female staff regarding passive aggressive behaviour when the responsibility that they are paid to take for their role is rightfully put back on to them instead of on to a customer. Frowns for having to receive money at the register because they counted the till too early should also be banned. It is a shop and not a youth centre right?
One young guy was too cool for school to look at me when I asked if he could help me. I had to ask again for him to snap out of his trance. Seriously I'm not sure it serves Bunnings to have so many untrained young people there. Does not feel professional at all.
Tiniest Bunnings ever, not sure why they even bothered given the pre private owned competitors lil business' already struggling, some prices are slightly more expensive than other Bunnings close by? Would not bother and does not have half of what you could get driving another 40mins?
Super helpful staff, handy location and good stock. I just wish it was larger and had everything to save the trip to ballina
I can't say the the service was good. The girl who served me made an error with the price (I had to ask her to check and she got it right in the end) but I had to load some long timber by myself out on the road. Most places would assist a customer but not at Bunnings Byron Bay.
